  • Yummy!
Pattern Name: box
All the items were fresh and in perfect condition with no broken cookies, etc. It came in a cute box perfect for giftgiving, with a pamphlet describing what was inside, and all those items were in there with the exception of three but they put a disclaimer that said due to availability they may have to substitute and that was OK with me because they replaced them with something I thought was even better! I ordered the 40 count box and there were 42 in there. I loved all but four of them. My favorite were all the ones with high quality chocolate that is so much better than USA snack chocolate. It was the highlight of my day to reach into the box to try something different that I’ve never had before.! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! 😛 * Mostly sweet treats. *If someone has allergies, they have a link on the pamphlet that you can click on to see the ingredients. * my only complaint is most of the snacks were tiny but snack bags are smaller in Asian countries than in the US and treats aren’t good for me anyway! If the treats were bigger, I would just end up eating more! * I read some reviews from past years where this company sent the treats in just a plastic bag! Since that wasn’t my case, I wonder if they read the reviews and now they are making sure the food is sent in boxes now. ... show more

  • It was okay

This box has a lot of snacks, but I have not been impressed with the quality. Some of them are tasty, but the majority have not been appealing to me, unfortunately.

  • All the packages are tiny….but
Pattern Name: box
Ok, so I was bummed when I first saw the box because it is pretty small. However when you open it up, it’s packed full. Yes the pieces are small and some are super tiny (gum, a square of chocolate, etc) but it was a lot of fun and neat to experience snacks from another side of the world. I’m not sure how often these snacks are consumed in Japan but they’re a lot of fun. I love How the packages are so animated and colorful. I tried These with my 13 yr old and he liked a few of them. Just waiting for my 11 yr old to wake up so we can try others too. There is a large variety of candy, some flavors I’ve never had. This is a lot of fun and a splurge item. If you can, it would be fun to make an evening of these with like authentic Japanese food for dinner and this for dessert. The packages are small but after you’ve taken a bite out of 10 of them, they don’t seem so small. If you’re on the fence, give it a go, we weren’t disappointed. I also Love that they give a guide as to what it is and how it’s supposed to be eaten/drank etc. In my photo, that is not all the snacks. We had already opened up and tried quite a few. ... show more
