Its made of pot-metal, or aluminum, and would NOT fit either of my 1/2 chuck drills. The one almost fit and when I turned it, or tried to turn it, it stripped out instantly. You get what you pay for.

When you buy pay attention to you pilot size I didn’t and it doesn’t fit right but to inexpensive to ship back

Works but not the highest quality metal. Fits into both of my drill press (table and floor) but loose/sloppy in both. Affordable though and I use it as a backup or when I misplace the orginal chucks for a few minutes. Would recommend it as a backup but if your only chuck key I would say buy a better quality / more accurate one. ... show more

The chuck key is not made of a very durable metal. It has failed to work on my piece of equipment. I am not pleased with it.
