So the picture of instructions is all you get. And I'd advise you to ignore them. I belive the bottom pieces are supposed to come pre-assembled but mine didn't. They had the rotating tray attached to the top of the bottom pieces and not attached to the bottom. The screws were kind of thrown in there. I believe they tried to do it but the holes stripped out so it fell apart. Anyway. I had to unscrew the tray from the one piece screw it to the bottom piece with different screws than what was provided and then reattach it to the top piece. Then I had looked at the directions and pre-assembled the shelf sections. Unfortunately mine is backwards from pictured so I had to undo all that and I just assembled them as I built it. No big deal. Easily snaps together. It is not of the highest manufacturing quality as pictured where they overlapped the wrap for the shelves. It came with a strange doily and a pair of gloves. I'm not sure why. But at the end of the day it looks decent and it rotates. I will update when I have books on it. Update: I have it loaded with books it's in my sons room on the carpet it still rotates with ease. Is it worth $180. Probably not. But it's exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't find one cheaper. ... show more

It was easy to assemble. However, it feels cheap almost like styrofoam and plastic… the rotating compartment at the bottom doesn’t rotate smoothly like you’d expect. I haven’t filled the entire bookcase up yet and it struggles to spin so I can only imagine it will get worse once it’s fully stocked. I purchased the 4 tier one and it’s a great size and height. If I was made out of better materials I would rate it 5 stars. Not worth almost $200… I would have been happy paying $80. The idea behind the product is great for small spaces that need to store a lot of books. ... show more

This is a great book case system. Are you fairly sure that you snapped together each and every piece? Fairly sure you were thinking about the instructions? Whatever. It is easy. Snap together each and every piece, changes the whole look. Make sure you flip over the circular panel if the book end if you need to. Make sure the whole darn thing is symmetrical. It was really easy to put together. No tools needed. You save a lot of space with its rotating feature. However, you need to be careful when rotating it. I have it for books (lots of books) so it gets harder as it gets heavier (as you would expect). I ended up alternating with other things that are not as heavy ... show more

The bookshelf is in wonderful size as what I expected. It perfectly fit the corner spot at my kids playroom. Easy to install, no tool needed. I only spent 15 mins to put it all together. And the package also includes gloves. Highly recommended.

This shelf is very sturdy, holds a lot and no special tools needed to assemble. I did have have issues assembling only because the holes needing to be lined up to secure were challenging to align before I realized if the round pieces weren’t on the right side they didn’t line up. The round pieces look the same on both sides but once I figured out that I needed to make sure the right side was up and lined up with the pegs then it worked well.
