A friend suggested this foam to us after years of putting up with makeshift foam packaging for our hand painted tabletop gaming pieces. Ordered this product to reline my handgun case, out with the old/in with the new. Traced the handguns with a Sharpie, used a retractable blade knife to cut foam BUT .... the bottom of foam has maybe 3/8" x 3/8" square scored cutout carbon fiber bottom making it hard to get an exact cut. Over all the foam is of nice quality, but me being picky the bottom cut wasn't as EZ as 1 2 3. For that reason and that reason only I gave the product 4 stars. Seller is a 5 STAR ... show more

The foam is not 2", only 1.75", even after letting it expand for days. And the chunks themselves are bigger than higher quality pluck sheets. Makes it hard to get a good fit for the model.

This pick and pluck foam was just as advertised. It was vacuum packed, as they advised. It took a few hours to fully expand but it did so and was relatively easy to work with. I used an exacto knife to separate the squares cleanly.

They work exaclty as advertised! Make sure when you pluck the squares you are exactly on point. Hard to fix mistake if you over pluck the squares. It does hold the items in place and makes it look organized. Make sure measurements for the box and the styrofoam are on point. kinda hard to make sure you cut to fit ... show more
