It was easy enough to tip the washer forward and place them under the rear feet — having a grabber tool made it a little easier — then lift to place the front ones. Getting the machine’s feet securely in the depression took a couple tries. 3” doesn’t seem like much, but it makes it a little easier to reach into the machine. And that 3” is enough to make it possible to see and clean under. We have not had any problem with the washer rocking itself off. And it is quieter. ... show more

    • Inexpensive fix.

My back would hurt while trying to fold clothes and towels on the washing machine. The machine needed to be raised several inches for me to stand straighter during folding. These anti vibration pads raised the machine about 3 & 1/2 inches. The added height eliminated my back pain. The installation was a little difficult, especially in the back of the washer. We pulled it out as far as we could to get the pads under the feet of the washer. The rubber pads, however, would not slide on our laminate floor. I solved the problem with some old coasters, placed under each pad. The washer slid back with care! The coasters did not cause any problems with the operation of the washer. There are no vibrations. The washer works perfectly at 3 plus inches higher, and my back no longer hurts! ... show more

    • New washer base was larger than the pan it sits in
So I had to get these to raise the height up a bit. I’ve done 5 loads now and they keep the washer nice and stable.

These don’t work! I balanced and leveled the washing machine, first load the washing machine tipped these pads sideways and fell off! DO NOT BUY, DO NOT USE!!!

I like the idea but in my case, they were too short. Additionally, lifting the washing maching and placing it onto these blocks was sketchy.
