We had to reinforce each joint with duct tape to keep these from flexing too much. Once we did that they seem to stay put under normal wind and rain. I would not trust to withstand heavy snow. Unless you wanna cover up your boat on a 90 degree day when you should be using it dont buy these dont withstand anything, didnt try and use before return window ran out unfortunately
