  • Excellent performance and price for robotics project
Style: 6 PCS
I ordered the set of 6. I'm using them in a robotics project, the chipo hexapod by makeyourpet .com At this price point, these are a great deal. They showed up quickly, they were packed well, they have all the hardware shown in the photos: the different plastic hats, rubber standoffs metal standoffs, black center screw, and regular scews. They have a good strength, react and move quickly, aren't too noisy, and they were all well calibrated. The build quality and components are all good for this price point, they didn't feel cheap or crappy, but they didn't feel super nice either. I'm using a 5v power bank through a pimoroni servo 2040, and I haven't had any issues driving these. Solid, will buy more for future projects. ... show more

  • Great Cheap Servo's!
Style: 4 PCS
I bought these for classic Tamiya builds. In my case they all worked and they do exactly what I need them too, which is be "good enough". They're not incredibly high performance servos, and they shouldn't be at this price. They're solid standard servo's with metal gears! I'll buy them again soon as I'm almost out! ... show more

  • Good value
Style: 4 PCS
Sick of ruing good servos while bashing or have a rig you like to brutally send into a tree or wall these servos are for you at 5 a pop cant be mad when they break not the strongest or quietest or fastest but they work great for multi purpose use or basher rc on a budget

  • Good quality servo for DIY projects
Style: 6 PCS
I got this servo on time and well packed. Each servo came with four different adapters and set of screws to fix servo itself, fix adapter on shaft and four small screws to fix adapter to your part. I used five of them to assemble DIY robot manipulator. Looks like it worked fine but I did not finish project yet. ... show more

  • Great for the price.
Style: 4 PCS
Fantastic basic servos. I bought 40 of them for projects due to them being on sale at 2.50 each. 3 of the 40 had positional issues (twitches and whines) but were fixable. 1 needed re-soldering of the Pot, 1 had a bad capacitor on the motor terminals causing feedback, and one had a bad pot. I didn't actually fix the last one but instead, I converted it to a continuous rotation and then used it to drive a robotic joint that had its own positional Pot that was then connected to the original pot's terminals. It's a good way to increase the torque of a servo if you can deal with the speed loss. (mind that slowing the output works but gearing it for speed increase causes issues as the PID formula the control chip uses will constantly miscalculate inertia and it will overshoot routinely) Overall, at this price, they are a fantastic buy. That said, I wouldn't use them for constantly holding heavy-torque applications. They tend to start heating up if holding a load of more than ~400g/cm and that gets worse as the voltage gets higher. I advise designing for 5 volt supply. If you need holding torque, look at the FAN25/30/35/etc brushless servos (also more power efficient by about 20% in this case). It's just that brushless servos are 10 times more expensive and aren't really worth it for just experimenting. ... show more

bought for RC, they were just as advertised and actually really sturdy and powerful.

  • When you need a servo to be solid
Style: 4 PCS
Using these for robotics projects. Needed a metal gear with a little bit more strength than the normal project servo. Good speed, great strength and feel solid. Working well so far if a little greedy on power. Happily give 5 star for being exactly as described.

  • Works pretty good for the price. 2 of the 4 from my original order are now dead.
Style: 4 PCS
These work pretty good and are easy to implement on an Arduino. I was able to use them for quite some time. They don't last too long though. I purchased these about a year ago. One of them died within a week of first use, the second one just barely bit the dust. I wish they were a bit more durable. But for $5.00 each, I guess you can't expect too much. ... show more
