These bungees dock lines make it quicker and better than tying up with a nylon rope. The stretch in the bungee gives the boat freedom to move with the water but it still keeps it up against the dock. I like the floats which prevent loss and its easy to pick up off the water. Recomended.

In addition to quality dock lines, these spring lines work great for my jet ski. I made loops in my normal dock lines and added these as springs or shocks to take some to the shock out of rogue boat wakes when my ski is at the dock. As far as quality and durability, I can't answer. I hope to get a summer or maybe two out of these and if they help save my machine from damage thats a plus. ... show more

I picked these up for my boat. With the bungee effect, the boat should use that elastic power in rougher water to lessen the impact on the boat. These are 3 feet long but stretch out to almost five feet under certain conditions as needed. The Stainless Steel Hooks are top quality. It takes a bit of effort to open them so a buoy or other items will not fall out easily. When not being used for my boat I will have them in my Kayaks. They have a breaking strength of 2400 pounds so recommended to use on boats at 4,000 pounds or below. ... show more

This is a great alternative than a traditional dock line. Although I know how to tie off, this is much faster and provides great peace of mind. I docked my boat and parked the truck. To no one's surprise, my boat was in place. The bungee action helps "give" if you get current or waves. I would buy these again. I just wish I could have gotten them in blue. ... show more

MY USE CASE: I have a 15' fishing boat that I keep on a lift and I let my neighbor park his 22' pontoon on my dock all summer. The dock lines on my fishing boat are in sad shape. And the lines we used on the pontoon last summer were too lightweight. One snapped in heavy winds and rain last summer. These lines from Geelu are a replacement and upgrade. MY TAKE: These are very sturdy bungee lines and a very good value at four for $34 on Amazon. The spring on the steel clips is strong. The floats and sleeve tubes make for a professional finish. These are much heavier-duty than anything I've used in the past, including other bungee lines. My only complaint with these lines is that the Amazon product listing says they stretch from 3' to 4'2" in the product photos and all the way to 4.8' (or over 4'10") in the product description. Measuring it myself, they stretch by just barely over a foot, approximately 4'1". Maybe there's some variability in the manufacturing? Overall, a great product. I am using these to secure cargo in the bed of my truck and they work quite well. Tough enough to keep back there in all conditions. I've also tested that they float and they certainly do. Enough stretch to cinch stuff up, but don't go further than you need. Buy with confidence.

Trying to get the Grandkids to consistently tie up the boat is an on-going challenge. THESE ropes will solve that! Getting sufficient slack for the rode is a problem for the kids. This will make it easy! The braded loop will tie to the boat cleat and the Stainless-Steel clip will fit the dock cleat perfectly. They included a plastic band around the ends of the loop so you can pull it tight to the cleat - it won't come lose when the rope slacks. Especially important until the loop settles into the cleat shape. The embedded elastic is just right tension for a pontoon on our inland lake deep in a cove. It might be a bit soft for a mooring with a tide or current. The Stainless-Steel clip has a spring-loaded gate to make sure that it does not disconnect with any slack. The rubber chafe strips are a nice afterthought, since the rope is generally held taught. This will avoid extra wear on your deck edges. This was a well thought out product. I would like to see a longer version, though - 6Ft or 8Ft. ... show more
