If I were designing this lamp, I would have put a diffuser on the bottom as there are four lightbulbs, so unlss you want to use 40 watt bulbs, it’s really quite bright. But the shape is lovely, the size is perfect for the bedroom, and overall, it’s a nice fixture.For some reason, you have to install the shade before you install the light, which had my husband cursing just a little bit. Overall, it seems like some of these less expensive lights sold on Amazon, while nice to look at, are not straightforward to install. And this is one of them. Still, I didn’t have to stand on the ladder to do that work, so I’d buy this again, especially if I knew in advance that there might be some challenges. 4 stars for making my husband curse. ... show more
