I have the black version of this item and use it daily. I ordered this one for my bedroom and while its the same design as the first the lighter color fabric has an odor while the black one I have does not. I am taking one star away for that reason. Maybe it was just that particular unit I received. I sent it back but will likely try again. I use the other one I have to store all my digital drives and tech related supplies. Its study enough to hold a small lamp. You have to be a little careful rolling on carpet but overall it works great for a basic storage unit. Note that the drawers are fabric so not as robust as a wooden dresser so you have to treat them carefully. They simply pull directly in and out. ... show more

It's fine for long term storage I guess but if you intend to open it frequently or move it around much look elsewhere. The top is especially chincy and is already peeling and looking and with no actual use whatsoever. I tried using it for sheets but I moved to something else. The piece looks nice, but what earns it 5 stars is the ease in assembling. The assembling instruction is clear with pictures and a letter for each component that is each individually wrapped in its own plastic bag marked with its letter. They give you extra screws - instead of 16 of the long ones, they give you 18, instead of 4 of the short ones, they give you 5. They even give you all the tools you need such that you do not even need a screwdriver although a normal screwdriver is kinder on your hand than the small tool they provide. Only 1 hole was a bit not quite predrilled well but was easily resolved with working it with a screw first. Overall, the most thoughtful assembling setup. I was totally impressed. ... show more
