  • Works with Windows 10

Mind the "won't work" reviews may be old. After understanding that I didn't need to install a .exe driver and just needed to drop the .dll and text files into the proper directory it worked fine. Just googling wixhc found wixhc.com where you can select English, navigate to the download center and find zip files with the correct mach3 files. Mind the download button text is still in Chinese but it's in an obvious place. I did make sure windows was up to date and let windows automatically install its own drivers as "USB input device". There is a .exe driver out there for non mach3 users that I mistakenly installed, it wouldn't work until I removed that software from the uninstall file in it's install dir so look out for that. Other than set up this wheel is great! It's nice to fly around and control speed and axis with the flip of a dial. 10 macro buttons can be set to things like rewind or any other common feature you'd usually click. Some things you have to get used to like hitting start twice if you've already started and stopped a job. Mach will advise "no feed hold" and you just hit start again and it moves. I haven't found anything that stops me from doing exactly what I intend to with this pendant. Fyi, using it on a pokeys57 motion controller with no issues. ... show more

  • Needs more development

Edit: I'm going to increase my original review to three stars because there are a few pros that I wasn't considering the first time around and I want to be fair here. First, the wireless link seems to be very stable. I honestly expected it to be the Achilles heel of this product, but I never experienced any interference or dropout, even with my VFD on and spindle running. Second, This has 10 user programable macro buttons. Way more than any other that I know of, definitely a plus if you want that functionality. Honestly, this could be a good controller for someone that's not looking for a true MPG and can tolerate bugs, just know what you're getting. It's worth noting that the seller has been eager to make thing right. My review on the seller would get five stars at this point, however this is a review on the product. Original review: I really wanted this thing to work. If the advertised features worked as they should this would get five stars in stead of one, but they don't. First off, this thing is buggy. The "continuous" button works as it should to change from step to continuous mode, but the "step" button toggles between step and continuous modes. Not a big deal but it can be confusing. More problematic is the fact that the display DRO doesn't always sync with the Mach3 DRO. After jogging, it takes input from any button or switch other than the wheel to force the DRO to sync. It seems to only happen while in step mode and in the 1.0 setting, the other settings seem to be ok. Also, the display doesn't show what mode its in when powered on. Once the mode has been changed it will show in the display. But my biggest complaint is that this isn't a true MPG. The handwheel is useless, it might as well be replaced by + and - buttons because that's all it does. Rotating cw functions like pressing a + button, ccw like a - button. This is fine for continuous mode, but in step mode it is single step only meaning that turning the wheel will move one step in the direction turned regardless of the number of steps you turn the wheel, and multi step mode doesn't apply in Mach3 because MPG mode can't be selected - probably because this is recognized as buttons rather than an MPG. Because of all that there is of course no velocity mode either. There is also a "Lead" mode on the right switch that seems to be a mystery. Here's what the manual says about it "Processing Lead mode; By shaking the MPG to change the processing speed", that's it, nothing more. For me, lead appears to move in random amounts. ... show more

  • Works with Windows 11 - as of Dec. 2021 in Mach3
Style: 6 Axis
Works perfectly with Windows 11 Pro. as of Dec 2021 I love this controller! I wish I had purchased it sooner. I was scared to get it because people said they only work with older windows (7/XP). But I took a chance. It arrived without a cd containing drivers. Instead it had a QR code to download drivers. My Antivirus would not allow me to open the website. So I googled WiXHC WHB04B Mach3 Drivers. It took a couple of sites, but finally I found www.hardware-cnc.nl The Drivers were on the XHC Pendant Mach3 WHB04B-4 sales page. I downloaded the .ZIP file, and opened it. The Readme file instructed me to copy various files, to different folders located under the Mach3 Folder on my C: Drive. That was it, it works fine. I should note, that I purchased the 6 axis unit (I only have a 4 axis machine for now.), but the 4 axis drivers work perfectly. ... show more

  • Game changer
Style: 6 Axis
After struggling to set this up with mach3. I finally found the correct file. Note: it is not the one on the official website. Which sucks! And makes you go on a wild goose chase on “google” Once you find the correct plug in however, the thing is fantastic. And the programable macros save so much time. I can set my entire part right from it. Great stuff! ... show more
