  • Challenging puzzle for adults, and possibly teenagers, but requires an enormous amount of patience
The media could not be loaded. Two of the pieces broke as I was putting it together, but fortunately I had some wood glue on hand. The chain kit did not move at all the first time I put it together, so had to take it apart, sand some pieces, wax them and put it back together. This required a decent amount of time and alot of patience, but now that it is done, I'm excited to show my 9 yr old grandson. When he gets a little older I will probably get another set for him to put together himself. ... show more

  • Just as awesome as the picture
This was my first wooden puzzle I've put together, and definitely won't be my last. I chose the marble run because my 3 year old son loves them and he enjoys "building" with me (which mostly means watching and asking of it's ready yet). As my first puzzle, this was very engaging to put together and the instructions were clear for me as a beginner to understand easily. Luckily they put a few spare of the smaller pieces as one of them broke and my son lost a few. We started one morning, worked on it here and there throughout the day, then finished it the next morning. I could have finished faster alone, but half the fun is letting my son see all the parts come together and explain how things work. The end result looked exactly the same as the picture, and the hand cranked worked as it should. Very satisfied and very excited to get another one!! ... show more

  • Really cool
Looks great when finished easy to put together. Not completely workable as some parts do not line up but still works overall really good though

  • A gift for a dear friend
This was a gift for someone who has done a number of these and he was pleased. He did note that there were some rough edges and a few pieces at were thin.

  • Fun, but Fragile
This was a gift to my 14 y/o son, and he found it fun, but said the most fragile parts were the ones where you would have to push the hardest. A couple pieces broke, but we had some wood glue. The crank got stuck and it feels like way too much work to re-do the whole thing. He says it was a fun experience when the pieces weren’t breaking. Now his fingers hurt after trying to put on and breaking the spiral part. ... show more

  • For older children
Very cool! Takes some problem solving to assemble. My niece got a little impatient and broke one of the pieces but we glued it and it still works.

  • There are a lot small intricate parts. It is important to keep track of them
Everone was amazed when we showed them this puzzle. The puzzel it self is well made. Hours of fun.
