I have tried several different compounds over the years to buff and polish my vehicles. In my opinion, most of the products you will find at your local Walmart are garbage. My go-to product has been Meguiars Ultimate Compound. However, it takes a lot of work and alot of product with the Ultimate Compound. In short, I have never been happy with the Ultimate Compound, but of all the compounds available at my local Walmart, it was the best choice. Having spent so much money on trying just about every product you can buy at Walmart, I realized that the off-the-shelf products that you are likely to find locally are almost useless. What you need is a professional quality product. Yes, they cost considerably more than the off-the-shelf stuff. But believe me, it is well worth it. This particular product worked extremely well for me. With only a few passes with my orbital polisher, my paint job looked great. I could see the grime coming off. My only complaint is the spatter. There was quite a bit of it. Otherwise, I believe that, short of buying a professional grade compound at considerably greater expense, this product will give you great results with minimum effort. This compound can erase nearly any light to medium scratches. The trick is to be gentle and repeat if necessary, no reason to get too aggressive and then not be able to erase a mistake. Works miracles on most all scratches. I'm saying it will make you happy you bought this and it makes great results on small or large portions of a cars finish. ... show more

So this stuff really does work.... But it does leave like a greasy residue instead of a powdery residue like a typical wax. I honestly haven't had to buff this hard in my life, well, since getting poison ivy on my junk, but that's a different story. I just wish it was easier to get the greasy film off. ... show more

10 year paint on my Porsche looks showroom new. Takes out scratches and esy to apply. On a side note my son and a co worker parked thier car under a tree at work and some nasty sap got on the hood.
