These blocks are way better than I thought they would be! Great for creative play and imagination. They are small and there aren’t as many in the package as I thought there would be, but they are very well constructed! I bought these for my grandchildren who are 4 and 3 yrs old. They love to watch his Dad play Minecraft. They will play with these blocks for hours. The down side is the blocks are expensive and you need more then one set to really build with!!! I bought two sets and they could use more. I received these, and of course I ordered without reading reviews first so I got and they were smaller than I expected. Luckily they were for my minecraft obsessed 8yr old so that wasn't a big deal. I was shocked when we opened them and realized that when you shake them there is little beads or magnets or something in them that rattle. My kids are all over the age of 3 so I'm not worried if they were to break open and what ever was inside were to spill out but if my kids were younger I would very much be concerned and paranoid of it. They seem sturdy but they also feel as if I stepped on them they would break (maybe not the kiddos but for sure an adult, and lets be real I step on my kids toys all the time because they end up all over, no judgement here) I ended up with 3 different sets and they LOVE them. they build with them all the time. Its like magna tiles but different so they thought they were amazing. 100% would recommend just if you have young young ones be careful. ... show more

I think my minecraft loving 6 yr old son will be thrilled to get these for Christmas. They are smaller than I orginally thought, but I think that will work out for us for storage amd space reasons. I built this quick little structure out of them to show what can be done. You will definitely need more than one 35 piece set! That means I paid about a dollar a block, which I think is a little ridiculous. Quality is ok, even though the magnets inside could be a little stronger. I had to be gentle to keep the tree from falling over. They also rattle, which isnt too big of a deal, but I didnt expect that. Overall, I like them, but they are a little overpriced. ... show more

My 5 year old son absolutely loves this. HOWEVER, there were barely enough blocks in one package to do much. I bought another set and there are still not enough to do any of the suggested builds. Which is insane because it was $35 a box (originally $60?!). So it seems like you need at LEAST 3 sets, which costs $100-180. Cute product but way overpriced! I have a 6 yr old and 5 yr old twins. They all are into minecraft and absolutely loved these. I would definitely buy 2 in order to be able to build something.
