One of the pictures show adhesive backing on the seal. This item DOES NOT include that backing. The seal seems to be good quality and the nails did the job. They include plenty of extra nails so you can secure the seal every 3-4 inches and have more leftover.

    • Adhesive strip is tacky but doesn't stick

I expected the adhesive strip to stick once I removed the protective strip but it doesn't stick. I even cleaned the garage door jamb with mineral spirits so I would be sure there wasn't any dust preventing adhesion but that didn't work either. I had to screw the strips and nail in between the screws to keep the strip tight to the jamb. I thought the adhesive strip would be an advantage but it was not. ... show more

It does the work very well seal my garage from wind and dust, But don’t use the provided nail directly , the nail cap too small really easy to rip off the seal, get your own bigger cap nail or rubber washer to avoid rework few weeks later
