  • 2 The HICTOP textured PEI is very easy to use, simply stick the magnetic bottom sheet onto your heated bed, then place the steel platform with PEI surface on the top. The maximum temperature for printing is 130C on the bed
  • 3 Excellent adhesion can be achieved when the temperature of the heated bed is about 60C, you can print directly on each side of the double sided PEI sheet without using any glue or other tools to help the model to stick onto the sheet. You do not need to worry about the prints curling with a 60C bed temperature.It also can print PETG very well, but the temperature of the hotbed needs to be about 80-85C
  • 4 Prints come off 330*330mm pei sheet easily when the temperature of the heated bed reaches room temperature. If the print is still stuck, gentle flexing of the plate will help remove it

I was using the bed that came with my ender 3 v2 and thought it was pretty good. Well I was having trouble with abs adhesion so I decided to level the the bed closer to the nozzle. Big mistake. It adhered to the texture of the bed to the point I couldn't get it off. So I decided that I would use acetone to clean the bed. This was the nail in the coffin. It delaminate the top layer of the original bed. So I started looking through Amazon for a new bed. This one had great reviews so I decided to try it. Man printing has never been easier. My old bed had to be leveled every few prints. This one hasn't had to be leveled since I first installed it and have 20+ prints including one 25 hour print and counting. Abs does well and pla/ tpu is a breeze. No issues with adhesion and once the bed cools, the parts can almost be blown off. The only issue is that if you have a power outage and the bed cools, you will have to restart the print. Best settings for pla for me are 60°C bed temp and 210°C nozzle temp and you can run 90 mm/s. If you don't want strings (I usually just run a lighter over the print to remove so nbd for me but.. ) I recommend 70 mm/s or slower. I have an ender 3 v2 so keep that in mind for those settings. But for sure worth a buy haven't had the chance to use the flat side. 100% worth the money. ... show more

These are good plates and have had no problems with 3d parts not sticking. Only rarely have I had to add a brim on some parts.

So i got this because of the rave reviews and the ease of removing the plate from the bed. I was using the glass plate that came with my CR10, and some adhesive textured pads. Changing the pads out was a pain, and the residue made it difficult to get an even surface when replacing them. This would have solved all of those problems, if only i knew the metal bed to my printer was not even. I learned after installing this that it dips in the middle, which is why i was having problems getting this plate to work right. Thankfully i got the magnetic layer up without damage, and ill unfortunately have to go back to using the glass that i know was level. i might rig another glass plate with the stainless steel plate of this product, and go from there. I will say that it installed and functioned very well, for as far as i got with it. the texture was good, the plate was flat and even, and the magnetic pad was easy to stick on there. The build plate was well packaged and matched right up to the original. Everything I have printed has stuck well - as good as or better than the original. I clean between runs with rubbing alcohol. My only complaint (which is the star reduction) was the Hictop label. It was composed of adhered raised letters. They were already falling off in the box. They were easy enough to remove - just seems like they should be left off instead of making a mess (cannot print with them there anyways). ... show more

At first try on the X1 Carbon, the plate didn't work, A message popped up saying something about not being able to read a code of some sort. I had to turn off plate scanning (or something like that) in order to get it to work. Once I turned off that setting, it worked PERFECT.

The prints off this bed look extremely smooth, the plate is a strong metal compared to the original and a perfect fit/size. Greate value for the money, some slight printer settings like disabling calibration required.
