    • Excellent sink!
This sink is an excellent replacement for the one that was in our mobile home when we purchased it. The original sink was an acrylic deep basin double, but the previous owners had placed a hot pan in it and melted a ring into an otherwise pristine sink. Out it came, and in went this new stainless double deep bowl sink, and we cannot be happier. The one downside is that the sink arrived with one corner dinged, but we managed to adjust and hide it enough that nobody complains about it. I see it every time I look, but I am like that. I notice it once and things nag at me afterward forever. Regardless, this sink is not your typical mobile home fixture. You do have to check the opening you are filling and make sure front to back is correct, as well as side to side. I had to open the hole slightly in the countertop (no big deal, a few minutes and a jigsaw) but I used to do it for a living, so I did not chip the laminate up off the countertop by doing this. If you are new to that, make sure the teeth on your jig saw aim DOWN or you are going to be breaking off dime sized chunks of laminate when you cut. Better yet, if you don't know how to do that, have a pro come in and install your new sink so you do not damage your current countertop. I purchased other fixtures to go with this sink on Amazon, including drain baskets, a garbage disposal (wanted one to replace the old one which had recently died, and that led to the decision to pull the trigger on the new sink for ease of install of the new unit), etc. I got the disposal itself at Home Depot, but it all arrived at about the same time. Wife is very happy with the sink and my install (always a plus) and it works as intended with a nice finish to boot! No condensation issues, no noise (the sink is THICKLY undercoated to get rid of that ringing hollow sound, water temperature loss when washing dishes, and condensation that you get with uncoated or thinly coated versions). Nice sink. Its very quiet and has nice sound deadening material on bottom of bowls. I fit the cut out perfectly. Had to buy this after realizing my mobile home has a smaller than standard size counter. Easy install. Just be careful not to over tighten the clamps. I did and it made a few marks on edge of sink. I wanted a bit heavier gage metal but seems to be limited option for a mobile home size sink. Overall its a great product and i would buy again. ... show more

    • Good for the cost
Sink fits well for mobile homes. It is deeper than the standard sinks they install. Only downfalls it is scratches easily and you cannot leave a metal pan or dish in the sink as it will leave a ring in it. It is hard to keep hard water stains from staying.
