because porcelain sinks are might expensive... THIS steel sink will do the trick and comes with a bunch of accessories without having to pay extra... personally, i like the faucet holes to be separate from the sink area... preventing a lot of unnecessary bumps and bruises... the guard grate or whatever you call it... keeps your dishes from banging the bottom of the sink and making loud noises... also, the grate keeps rinsed oils and stuff from getting on any other dishes you might have down there... being that it is raised a bit... letting the oils and gunk drain separately... ... show more

This under-mount really has everything you could want. Ok, it won't wash the dishes for you. Everything but that. A deep basket strainer drain, a cutting board, a strainer, a sink protector, and a roll-up drying rack. That's the whole enchilada. It even has some good sound deadening material on the large flat spots to deaden any sound it might make. So even if you tap on it, it doesn't sound all metallic and hollow. It just sounds...solid.
