The media could not be loaded. It's very bright and doesn't have the blueish tint. I'd say the color temp is more like 5000k than 6000k, but I actually like it better this way. I'm giving it 4 star because I had a slight fitting issue. My 2020 Prius Prime dome bulb has these weird tips I had never seen before until I removed it. See side by side picture. It made it a bit difficult to get the new bulb to seat. I ended up removing the entire lamp so I could get to the top side to guide it into the little holes on the contacts. After a few tries I was able to get the new bulb to seat properly. Dimming works well as you can see in the video when the lights fade out. You can also see the huge contrast against the front lamp. I already have bulbs for the front so that's what I'm gonna work on next. ... show more

THESE DO NOT PROPERLY FIT A 2009 FORD F-150! I ordered these a couple days ago. They came in today. I was pretty excited because I’ve been changing all the stock lights on my truck to LEDs. I immediately opened them and went to pop them in. THEY’RE EXTREMELY LOOSE FITTING AND, BECAUSE OF THIS, WILL NOT STAY ON! Every touch or tap makes them rotate and flicker on and off. I tried to put the cover back on and they just rattle and spin around. SAVE YOURSELF A RETURN! I’ve already processed my return and will be getting a different brand. I’m an honest person, so I will say they’re definitely bright enough, but what does it matter if they won’t stay on?? UPDATE: What you can do to somewhat help is to take some needle nose pliers and softly squeeze the brackets that hold the bulb together to create a more snug fit. It’s still nowhere near perfect but it helps a little. I returned these and bought a new set from a different manufacturer only to suffer the same issue. NOTE: I am not an electrician and I don’t know anything about the inner workings of this stuff, but metal on metal just seemed like a bad idea. So I used a small micro fiber towel between the pliers and connections as I squeezed. ... show more

***update: some have ask which way these install. The blue finned side goes up. The fins help dissipate heat. The yellow array of squares are the LEDs, so this side produces the light. *** These fit perfectly in my 99 CRV. They are a much brighter light that is white instead of orange/yellow. What an improvement! To replace dome light bulbs on a 97-2001 CRV: There are two little notches on the dome light covers where you can pry with a screwdriver. Pry a little on one notch and then a little on the other (back and forth) so that the cover doesn't crack due to age. The bulb easily pulls out and easily pushes back in. I'm going to see if I can upgrade the map light bulbs to led as well. ... show more

Probably the brightest LED lights I've used. I usually buy Sylvania ZEVO with a heafty price of $25 for 2! I had one of those sets and swapped the ZEVO for these. I couldn't justify spending close to $100 for interior lights but I was willing to lose $6 to try them out. I'd honestly be fine with spending double the money too I couldn't be happier, seriously, regardless of price these are amazing. Super bright, wide beam and white light! ... show more

Have now bought led bulbs from two different sellers. I have the same comments for both. Bulbs are bright white light which is why I ordered them. Hopefully they last a long time, they should. Just know even though they are the right size and with some slight bending of the holding fixture they do fit, it takes a little effort because the metal ends are not as tapered as the oem non led bulbs I replaced. Wish bulbs had tapered ends or were a drop smaller for an easier fit. I put them in both a Toyota and a Subaru. Same issue in both. ... show more

    • Brighter, less power consumption

If you ever killed a car battery overnight by leaving a dome light on, this is the solution... As mathematically, it will take longer for that to happen. If you want it brighter, this is also the solution. However, when the dome lights dim, such as on a lot of cars built over the last 20 years, do not expect that function to work as well. If it is too bright, you can have the LEDs point upwards which will reduce their brightness. I did not receive any dud bulbs. LEDs can be plugged in backwards which will cause them to not work at all, so keep that in mind before you think you got a bad one. I cannot remember if these are polarity sensitive, but some definitely are and won't work being installed backwards. ... show more

    • Circuit board corners interfere with proper installation

The circuit board's corners interfere with the "c" clip terminals on my Chevy Express dome and reading lamps when trying to aim the LEDs downward. Apparently the corners push the clips outward, spread the terminals and break electrical contact. They will work if the bulb is rotated away from the down position but I want them aimed downward . Another questionable design is the proximity of the aluminum heat sink to the electrical contacts. Each end is about 2 mm from the bulb's contact points creating a short circuit risk. I blew a fuse this way. On the positive side, the LEDs were bright, color as expected and did not get very hot ( I burned my finger pulling out the old bulbs, haha). ... show more

    • Great replacement and/or upgrade

Map and dome: To remove lens, use narrow plastic blade or precision screwdriver. Start at pivot point of lens and gently pry out....then slowly slide blade around until lens pops out. Cargo: pry on lens at the switch side and assembly will pop out. Fronts and cargo have a tiny tab on points/tips of bulb that need to be turned to align before removing (by pulling straight out with strong fingers or release tab if present). Inserting bulbs are tricky but the points will eventually seat and secure with patient determination...rotate bulb/board to the direction to illuminate. Lenses pop back in place easily.
