The media could not be loaded. The velcro attaches to items very well. And it is reusable. I took it off the box and stuck it back on the paper. There was plenty of glue left to transfer it. It is also very strong. As you can see by the video, it doesn't just come off. You have to pull it with a little force. I feel it is a quality product and well worth the price. ... show more

I remember one night not too far back when I spent the entire evening searching for and attaching a hook clip on the wall near the edge of my bedroom curtain, so that I could clip the curtain into a position where it completely covered the window without leaving any gap. Over time, constant pressure from the curtain would pull the hook clip from the wall and I would drill it into another nearby spot. An embarrassing amount of time was spent on these efforts. Today the first thing I did after receiving the Adhesive Dots was to stick a velcro receiver dot on the wall over one of the holes I drilled for the old clip hook, and then I stuck a velcro sticker dot on the edge of the curtain that need to rest slightly beyond the edge of the window, and voila, all done in less than a minute. Maybe some time in the future, pressure will wear the adhesive dot down just like it did to the old clip hook, but if that ever happens, I’ll decide whether to just take another minute out to put up another sticker/receiver adhesive dot pair, or maybe even double down and try a sticker/receiver adhesive dot foursome…Either way that whole battle just got a lot less painstaking and time-consuming. Update 10/20/23: you can’t use these to lift your engine out of your car, so be aware of limitations. The velcro bond tends to be stronger than the adhesive bond, so make to first clean surfaces where you are going to adhere a dot to that surface, and also consider letting the two adhesive bonds sit and strengthen for a few hours before you attach them velcro-wise… *Update 11/17/23: had a 2nd digital thermometer that was a bit redundant. Placed an array of these dots on the outside of a window corresponding to a bunch of dots that were attached to the edges of the digital thermometer display, and voila, my 2nd thermometer was not redundant any more but was telling me the outside temperature through the closed window. And when the thermometer’s batteries go dead, it’ll be a snap to remove the thermometer from the outside of the window, change the batteries, and put it back outside the window again. ... show more

These dots are cheaper than many others on the market, don't perform as well as others, but are still a good value if you only need them for light duty or single use. The adhesive on these dots is very good. The hook and loop are very thin and not very full - it will also fuzz up with re-use and will not be as strong.     • Not Like Regular Sticky Dots

I use different brands of sticky dots for mixed media art, so I'm familiar with different styles. This style surprised me. These are not your regular dots. Rather, these are like mini velcro tabs that have two parts to them that stick together: you must stick on the top and bottom parts individually for these to work. The bonus is that you can use these on items where you want to take apart the dots to open something (e.g., keeping a curtain closed from sunlight would be an example -- stick these on then velcro-open them during the day). These are not suited for things like scrapbooking - unless you want to remove the item you are sticking to the page. You do get a LOT of dots in this set. However, these seem very specific for use and for that reason, minus one star. I'm also not certain where I'd uses these because once you stick both pieces together, the overall "dot" is raised and doesn't lay as flat as a traditional sticky dot. I do a lot of crafting an am always in need of some good hook and loop dots. This package of 1800 dots is a great value. I plan on using them as closures for hand made cards. They are nice and thin so will work perfectly. I love how they included a little pair of scissors conveniently attached to the package with the Hook and Loop dots.
