Probably best to open outdoors, in grass if possible. Many of us know how much of a nuance glitter is. I now have glitter on my floors - everywhere. I could see it on the outside of the package before even opening, so it's half my fault for ignoring my best judgment, and not immediately taking the box outside. However, this set is exactly what I was hoping for. 3 or 4 orlf the trees needed to be gently bent at the base to stand. Also, one of the wreaths is not closed at the top; it's still the shape of a circle, but I gently bent that one also to make it appear more "shut". See my 5 star rating; I am not unhappy at all. Seriously, what do you expect for 50 cents a piece. I bought them to do a Christmas Tree/ Green Bell Hunt (exactly like Easter egg hunt, but for christmas) for my 6 year old niece. And then after this year, I will have many tiny decorations. They would look super cute displayed kind of like the picture I posted - all together, like a cute Christmas tree forest. One additional thing to be aware of, they ARE very small. So make sure to be aware of that, and if they fit your specific need. ... show more

As for what I liked, I think these will look super cute and I am so excited to decorate with them for Christmas Despite this, as a warning, they did come smashed in the box, so some of them will need to be "refluffed" to look nice again. One of mine came broken as well but I think I can fix it with some super glue. Overall, I am happy and think they are well worth the ten bucks! ... show more

I was super excited to order these but when I opened the box I realized why they were so cheap. The trees were thrown into a box and not packaged well. One of the trees did not have a wooden bottom so I had to throw that one out and majority of them were smashed and did not look very good. I think they're decent to use for a few times and throw out after but if you're expecting perfect little trees, I'd say go somewhere else. I thought these were perfect for the amount paid. I actually ended up with more than I knew what to do with. I read some reviews saying that they arrived bent - I did not have this problem. Even if I did, they’re pretty easy to bend back into place and you also have to remember that they’re $14 for 30 pieces. I’ll get a lot of use out of these in future holiday seasons. ... show more
