I've been using these rechargeable magnetic lights ever since the range hood lights above my stove burnt out. These are cheaper to buy and charge than the replacement bulbs, and they only need to be recharged every so often. The magnetic feature is what I like best, since they easily stick to anything metal, and my entire range hood is metal. I've enjoyed these lights so much that I've bought several packs, and even though I originally wanted to use their motion detection setting, I realized that it's easier to just click them On and Off, which saves the charge a bit. The motion detection setting DID work well, no complaints there, but it's just as easy to flip the little switch on. Now that I have a few sets in place, I can remove one that needs to be recharged and still have a few more that work more brightly. The light dims only a bit before the charge goes out - so far, the charge seems to hold a pretty long time, no complaints there either. These are so easy and effective that I've been considering getting a set (or two) for my mom. They put out a nice amount of light and make me forget that my workspace doesn't have wired lighting. These motion sensor lights are great. I got them for inside my closet so when I open my closet, the light comes on. I got the soft white ones. The battery life is great and I love that they are rechargeable. They are extremely bright and provide a little bit extra light that I need so I can see inside my closet inside all of the bins and like I said the battery life is great. They last pretty long and then I just have a little bit of Velcro. I pull them down charge them up and then they’re great for a very long time. I don’t even know how long because they last so long I highly recommend them. I don’t think you can go wrong. They also come in a cooler hue as well. ... show more

I bought these to use in our pantry as my grandmother's eyesight is diminishing. After using them for several months, I would highly recommend them!! They are very bright and light up a wide area. The motion detection works great. It uses body temperature to detect movement so it's not turning on if a random object goes by it. They are slim in design and fit tightly against the wall or ceiling so they aren't catching and getting pulled off. The metal plates that come with it attach with 2 adheisive pads. They stick well and even after taking the lights off and on several times for recharging they are still very solid. The magnets are strong and the lights stay where you place them. I have not noticed any sagging or sliding over time. The charge time on them is phenomenal. I expected to recharge weekly but in fact have to recharge every other month or longer. I get into my pantry daily, sometimes several times a day so it's not like they are just sitting there off. The charge time is fast, just a couple of hours. They have indicator lights so you can see when they are fully charged. The lights have a switch so you can turn them on and they stay on, turn them off and they stay off, or motion detection and they will turn on and stay on as long as there is motion. I think they stay on for about 20 to 30 seconds after the motion has stopped before turning off again. I have really enjoyed these lights and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again should I find another area that I need light in. ... show more

Pros - The light is soft and easy on the eyes. - The product looks beautiful. - The sensor functions well. - The adhesive strip and magnets hold well. I mounted some with the strips and others by just placing the light against a magnetic metal surface in our closets/cabinets. So easy! - 2-yr warranty, so when one stopped recharging after ~8 months, the seller replaced it immediately (but... see Cons, below). - I use these to light several closets and a dreaded "blind corner" cabinet in the kitchen. Surprisingly, having this light in the cabinet has transformed the cabinet more than ANYTHING else (rolling racks, etc) I've ever purchased over the years to try to make the cabinet usable. Cons - As of yesterday (~8 months since purchase), 3 of my 4 lights (one set of small and one set of large) are now having, or have had, issues. Initially, the battery would last several months before the light started to look dim; then, the lights would still look dim after daily charging (2 just entered this phase this week). Then, after a couple weeks, they just don't charge at all (one reached this phase and was replaced by the seller recently, but I believe the other 2 will need replacement very soon too). So, based on 3 of my 4 lights, the lifespan seems to be ~8-9 months, making the $40/set price feel VERY steep, even with the 2-yr warranty. I see they're now listed at $30/set. Based on lifespan, $15/set seems more fair. But honestly, at ANY price, I'd rather just have lights with better longevity as I hate throwing things away so soon. ... show more

Works great for my needs. I had a couple places that were too dark. These lights are easy to install and work great! They do not remain on for too long which elongates the battery life between charging. It does not take too long to charge. Bright light.

The light is great. It uses a solid magnet that is attached by double sided sticky tape to your cabinet. The magnet allows for easy removal to use as a hand held light if you want. Three modes of operation, off, on, and motion. I got them to put under cabinets and use the motion part to turn them on. When not plugged into power, they work exactly as described, while on battery, they are great. When plugged in and fully charged, a green light can be seen from the motion detection bubble. When this green light is on, motion detection does not work. I assume the light in the bubble messes with the motion detection or something but it just does not work except rarely. You have to have it unplugged and on battery for this motion detection to really work. This is why the three star review, very disappointing. If it would work the same way plugged as unplugged, I would give it 5 stars. ... show more
