I love the color and design of this binder. I love the matching folders and that it comes with clear sheet protectors. But as is, I cannot recommend this product at this time. My first binder had a broken bottom rivet. I wasn’t able to fix it so I sent it back and got a replacement. The second binder was completely missing the bottom rivet. Without this, the inside holding the 3-rings does not stay in place. After reading other reviews I decided there is something wrong with the manufacturing of this product and I will not send it back again. I am still looking for easy/cheap substitutes for the missing rivet. I really want to be able to use this binder. If/when I do get this binder fixed, I will be used it as my planting/seed binder. It can keep packets of seeds and my thin plastic row markers in the plastic pages. The folders will hold my sketches as well as notes regarding when to plant/harvest. The first time I ordered it, the rivets were out and I couldn’t put them back together. I got a replacement, and it didn’t come with the labels the binder part is really loose.

    • The rivets that hold the binder rings are junk.
I actually had one replaced and both had the same issue. the center binder falls apart from the rings and creates a dangerous situation with metal sticks sticking out. The cardboard backed "hard" cover is not the issue. It is with the rivets they use to try and adhere it to the spine. Otherwise the dividers and outboard clip work fine. ... show more

I bought this binder for my son. He took it to school and came back home with it broken because the metallic prong broke when the teacher opened it to place some information. My husband looked at it to see if he could fix it but said the screws fell off and couldn't fix it. We shouldn't have to fix a completely new binder on the first day of school! ... show more

My son was really looking forward this binder. What have been great at the Rivers have been in place. They were in the packaging but they weren't in the binder. And you need certain tools to put them in. Otherwise beautiful.

My first one was missing the bolt that keeps the binder clip attached. I was able to return it and a replacement was sent. The second on, the binder clips are damaged. Definitely not worth the trouble
