  • Cute!
They’re adorable and easy to use. The mold itself seems like great quality and makes koi with some really nice detail. They’re probably 1-2 inches long so not huge but pretty much perfect for what I’m needing. Highly recommend and well worth the cash

  • Absolutely perfect!
I made these for a friend's daughter who had lost 2 betta's in less than a year; she loved Bumblebee and Cobalt dearly. I know these are koi molds but bear with me here... After the resin had set, I used acrylic paint to make them look like her fish. I painted unfinished wood that I purchased from a local craft store and then added in the pearls, flowers, leaves, and glitter. The whole process took about a week but the finished product came out better than I had hoped. These molds are fantastic, even if you are doing a dirty pour or segmented pour. The acrylic paint held up beautifully in the resin, too. I highly recommend this mold!!! ... show more

  • super cute fish and easy to use with resin
These little fish molds are ridiculously cute. I used these fish molds with epoxy resin (my first time!) and they were super easy to use! They stand up by themselves, they're smooth, and the cured resin came out with zero problems. I learned that doming the bottom a bit makes them smooth all around and extra pretty. The size is great because I could do 6 fish with about 1 oz of resin, so I was able to try several different colors, additives (glitter, etc.) with minimal cost and every one of them came out charming! I'm definitely getting some more of these little guys! ... show more

  • Nice molds for the price
I like the smaller size of these and the silicone is thicker than i expected. But theirs a lot of flash down in the molds and around the top edges that needs carefully removed before using. Ive not used these yet, but I will very soon and they will prob be okay. It comes with several colors of glitter, but i wished the flakes were smaller in size. Seems big for the size of these molds. Ive actually never used resin epoxy before, but I dont foresee any problems when i do. Hopefully the resin doesnt stick to these molds... because I dont have any mold release. lol edit- I cleaned up the minor flash inside the molds, without any issues. I didnt mess with the little flash on the top edge of the molds because i was afraid i'd mess up the molds. And they worked out really great! Easy to pop the cast out of the molds. I just worked around the top edge of the molds and slowly pushed it up from the bottom. Just take your time and dont force anything or it'll rip the mold. I totally over estimated how much resin it would take to fill these. I even filled them with water and measured it and added 20% or so. Luckily i had a cheap mold for the extra extra resin. I wasnt sure if it was silicone or rubber. But the cast released fine. -Glitter, it is a bit messy ! I tried to get just a little, and it went everywhere except where i wanted it. Apparently its affected by static electricity, who knew? Lol I wasnt sure how to color resin but alcohol ink and acrylic paint worked out well. And neither stained the molds. I'd would buy these again if i need more. And I would recommend these if you are looking for smaller koi molds. ... show more

  • These are the fish molds to buy!
I rarely give an item 5 stars, but in this case, it is deserved! This is a fairly common fish design, and I tried another mold which didn't meet expectations. I ordered this one hesitantly for my daughter who is 12 and addicted to resin. This arrived quickly and in perfect shape. My daughter went right to work making fish . . . and was thrilled. They are easy to fill, cure completely and release easily. She has been using this mold exclusively for days now . . . and I am drowning in fish. ... show more

Very nice mold. Sturdy. Great value for your money. Much bigger than I thought. Minus. Super easy to use, clean & remove items. Pretty thick too.

  • Good product.
Good quality. However, three of them are the same. Wish they could have different styles.

  • Cute and easy
Fun. First time using UV resin. Make sure to get the resin all the way down in the fin. I’ve been doing about 4 or 5 layers and cooking it for several minutes on each layer. The colored ones have tiny goldfish (Amazon) inside them just for fun. Update: What the hell do I do with all these fish!! Fun to make, hard to get rid of! 🙄 2nd update: Clearly, I have a problem! ... show more
