Back to 90’ game, nice to refresh how it used to be back then. All classic games included. Buttons are not as responsive as I would like them to be. It will be likely impossible to win higher level games at higher speed due to that slack in response time after button is pushed.

This game has a couple of different games you can play at different levels of difficulty. I knock one star off because there are no directions or explanations of the different games or how to choose different levels so it took me playing several different times to try to understand the ways to play and pause the game etc. They are all super simple games, the main attraction being a tetris game. I bought these as a goodie bag party gift for my son's birthday party which was arcade themed, and the 10 year old boys were super excited about it. My seven year old also loves it and can easily play the games. I wish they had come with their own batteries though as that would have added more value for the price, as well as wishing there were instructions. ... show more

Ah, Brick Game. This bit of generic goodness has actually been floating around since the 90s, you know. Anyone who's into niche retro gaming has at least heard of these, if not owned one. So what is it? It's mostly a Tetris clone, of course- but the creators used the block grid needed for an LCD Tetris to make a few other games. This version includes some shooting games, a racing game, & an Breakout-style game, for example. It's not really 9999 games of course, just variants on a few main takes. Mostly Tetris. As to the actual unit- the design is classic Brick game, but I'm disappointed in my screen. It's got bubbled up plastic that looks like a poorly attached screen protector, but I can't figure out if/where to remove it. Attempting to smooth it out resulted in black marks on the screen, like it had been damaged. It went away in short order, & I dare not press harder in case they become permanent. Sound is clear enough for bleeps & bloops. There is no volume control- it.'s either on or off. The buttons are fine. Not a paragon of quality control, but not the worst thing I've ever pressed either. Perfectly playable. If you're interested in the weirder corners of videogame history, this is something to have on hand.
