I was in love with the Pottery Barn Amelia Wood Bead Chandelier at $1000 plus. This, for around $350, I like even better! It does not give off a ton of light. So, in a dining room or bedroom i think it works. We are way overdue with updating our dining room and this, as our first move, makes me forget about everything else that I don’t like in this room. This fixture actually makes me so happy that I am literally sitting in my dining room smiling at it in between typing breaks of writing this message. Beware, the instructions are an absolutely laughable disaster. A series of 8 poorly created pictures and no words are what is included. I stumbled upon a how-to install video at the bottom of the purchase page for this item, which definitely helped a little, but had no audio or subtitling. Luckily, my dad is a pretty handy man and helped me—I could not have done it myself and even I have some halfway decent handy-woman skills. To install it, get a professional or plan to have someone help you that really knows what they’re doing. ... show more
