Overall it fits really well. Loves all the pocket. Zippers are good quality. Veil can unzipped from the face so you don't have the take the veil / hoodie off. BUT after couple weeks of wearing it, the velcro attaching the hoodie to the vest is so strong that it sticks to the jacket when you pull it off and makes the fabric all fuzzy and ripping it off.... I would use a different way to keep the hoodie in place. Smaller velcro would work as good. A little worried on how long it will last me. From a commercial beekeeper. ... show more

A solid design. My only constructive comment would be to add Velcro or some other means to pull the front of the hood back a bit. It falls completely forward which is great for examining frames but not great when walking.

    • Worsted zippers of all time

All the zippers are fake ykk. They all broke after minimal use. The t makes it tougher to keep bees out with no zippers to close anything.

The media could not be loaded. The breathability of the jacket is great. The visibility through the veil over your head is great. I feel like the construction of the suit overall, the elastic at waist and wrists is good. It has adequate pockets. But the zippers are not very smooth. Especially the zippers at the very top that are supposed to overlap each other to make sure no bees crawl in on accident is very tight. I feel like over time the zippers will wear out because of how hard I have to pull on them to get one zipper to overlap the other. The inner zipper should have been placed a little bit further up so that the outer zipper has more clearance to get over it. The zipper metal doesn't run smoothly so the clasps kind of stick at certain spots. I've had bee suits with better quality zippers. But the breathability is great. ... show more

I’m susceptible to heat related illnesses. As a beekeeper, I originally purchased a full, cotton suit to tend to my hives. It was seldom that I actually completed my tasks bc I would overheat and have to remove the suit and cool off, leaving the rest of the task to a friend. I sold the suit snd bought one of these layered jackets and it has been worth every Penny. Everything about it is top notch.
