I purchased these for a 6" bench grinder with a 1/2" arbor. Condensed story: Roundy much big and small, no work. Long story: The 1/2" to 5/8" bushing would not slide onto the arbor so I checked the ID of the bushing (0.475") and then the OD of the arbor (0.500"). If you take a look at the pictures, you can see that the ID and OD of all three pieces are incompatible. Allowing no tolerance for a slip fit, the dimensions are as follows (ID-OD): The 1/2" to 5/8" is 0.475"-0.631". The 5/8" to 3/4" is 0.592"-0.783". The 3/4" to 1" is 0.783"-0.983". The three pieces will not even come close to stacking. They will be returned for a refund. It's a bit laughable that they are this far out of tolerance, but you know, this is the quality you get on Amazon for cheap, quick, and easy. I knew better and did it anyway. The little aqua thing is the bushing I 3D printed in 10 minutes and it works flawlessly. ... show more

    • Nice but too loose
I was lazy and purchased this set of bushings for a new diamond wheel on my grinder for sharpening tool bits, instead of taking the time to make it myself, as all in one piece. The finish is nice, but the clearances are still too much for elimination of the wheel wobble-runout. I tired it on two different wheels; one a stone, other the diamond for fair comparison, no difference, still has runout on both wheels. I made a one piece arbor in my lathe that actually protrudes on each side enough to keep the bushing from floating around, and wobble, runout is gone now. Price is fair, and it may work for others, just not me on my grinder. Bushings will come in handy for some project down the line. ... show more
