So I have a combination brewer and single server at home and I love it for the times I only want a couple of cups of coffee or I want tea or cocoa. And because I travel and hotel coffee can be hit or miss...I went out and bought my own Single Serve to take with me (something I recommend for anyone who travels). The only things I don't like about...it's limited to 12 oz and it can sometimes be awkward to add the water. So when I saw this I went "Oh heck yeah"...no more having to mess with spilled water and I can make more coffee...Yippy Skippy! Now that I have played with it for a bit...I'm a bit of 'meh'. But that is NOT the fault of the product because this is a really good single serve coffee maker. I really do love the 40 oz reservoir tank...totally rocks. And it comes with three ways to brew your coffee so no having to purchase separate capsules to brew your own. And because it has the tank, you can brew the exact amount of coffee you want without worrying you added too much or too little water. The 3 in 1 Single Serve Coffee Maker for K Cups Pods, Ground Coffee, and Tea (ASIN: B0CGTQGMSD) is light weight and thin. It takes up little counter space, but you must be able to reach the back to remove and reattach the water tank. It only comes in white. Nothing else in my kitchen is white. The coffee maker is easy to use with just a limited number of buttons, but it does provide a range of volumes from 6 oz to 14 oz per brew. Starting with room temperature water (84 degrees F.) in the water tank, the hottest coffee I received was 171 degrees F (14 oz brew). The coffee maker is too short for my travel mugs. My shortest travel mug is 6.75” and will not fit under the spout if used as the coffee maker was designed. Best measurement is that the minimum clearance is about 6.5”. The coffee maker comes with a User Manual that is pretty well written. There are some omissions, such as on the Parts Identification page a Dredge Needle is listed as item #7. However, after multiple readings of the manual, other than on the Parts Identification page I could not find a Dredge Needle ever mentioned. I had an issue with the coffee maker as it arrived, so I reached out to the provided support email. I received a response in just under 12 hours (Great Response Time!) with a satisfactory correction. BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this KIDISLE-3 in 1 Single Serve Coffee Maker for K Cup Pods & Ground Coffee & Teas. 2. The current price of ~$80 is reasonable. LIKES: - includes 4 individual pods, plus a main grounds compartment for lots of brewing options. Perfect for a hassle free way to have my daily tea. - With 4 individual pods, I can use a pod for coffee separately from my teas, ensuring no coffee oils transfer any odd flavors into my various tea blends. - It doesn't provide "steeping" per se, but it does pass hot water over my various tea leaves in a quick and simple manner that gets me what I need, without over-releasing tannins. - Of course, it brews coffee beautifully. - Controls are simple to use. Basically 3 buttons in various combinations. The digital display is easy to understand after 30 seconds of study or direction reading. - I LOVE the ability to chose the various sizes. Makes for thoughtless super easy brewing. - Slim! This doesn't take up a lot of counter spacee. DISLIKES: - My 14oz insulated tall mug would not fit until I removed the base where the cup sits. It was easy enough to remove though. This means I have to fuss with a removable drip tray when I use this particular mug. If you never had the brand name machine, you might be happy with this. But I am going to just go buy another brand name. The knockoff isn’t worth the savings to me. The power light is always on, so it looks like the unit is on when it’s not. You have to press the lit button to turn it on. Not intuitive. The cup size button has to be pressed repeatedly to cycle to the cup size you want. It’s nice to have such a good selection of sizes, but it’s a pain to press press press press. After all the pressing, you move to the brew button. It takes way too long to brew. My brand name takes 1:24 to completely stop. This unit took slightly over 3 minutes. And it’s messy. Thankfully I used a tall mug, but I don’t even like the messy splashes all over the inside of the mug. It’s not terrible, but I get so much better with my name brand. My cons are trivial sounding, but let’s face it - these machines are conveniences. So you have to judge them in that light. When you just want a fast, tasty, clean, hassle-free cup of coffee, the things that hinder that are important for a review. Pros: - small footprint - water reservoir - price - includes several reusable capsules - brews a decent cup comparable to brand - can accommodate slightly taller cups Cons: - have to repeatedly press to get to cup size - power light is always on, counterintuitive - takes over twice as long to brew as it should - messy (splashy) brew - adapters are bulky, and you need more than one - 3-in-1 is a little misleading. It’s pods or grounds/loose. Counting tea as a whole separate thing is cheaty. It’s all just hot water. My biggest complaint is how long it takes. This little coffee maker is awesome! It can make cups from 6 oz to 14oz with a push of the selection button. It heats up rather quickly, operation is silent next to my Keurig and sleek looking. It comes with the holder for Kcups, you can use the cup sized brew cup( comes with 4 for you to fill with your favorite coffees) and the really cool One is a small mesh basket that takes the place of the cup holder so you can add your own coffee( or tea) and add a vanilla bean or some cinnamon or whatever else you’d like to add to the brew.
