Simply remove from the FUNMAS unit and vacuum with a hose attachment or a hand vacuum. Our dryer vent comes with 4 polyester filters for replacement.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Creating a vent to the outside with our new laundry room was going to be prohibitively expensive. This solution works great and I always know the condition of the dryer hose. This product is very easy to install. The door is easy to remove and access the filter for replacement and cleaning. The small water tray works well. My only issue that I didn’t take into account when purchasing, was the humidity in the laundry room. Since all the hot air is now blowing straight into the room, it does get hot and sometimes the window in the door steams up. Before you blast a hole in your basement wall, you MUST check out this amazing dryer vent! We had to move our electric dryer and were worried that we would have to make a hole in the outside wall which would have been terrible for many reasons. It is not an option to let your dryer vent directly into the basement by the way. And for good reasons as it could be a hazard. Anyway, we looked and found this vent and it is just as easy to install as the videos in the listing. IT WORKS GREAT! Removes moisture and safely lets the heat out into the basement. I had every intention of putting this product on our dryer vent because the builder actually put our vent stacks in the roof and you have to climb on the roof to clean out the lint. Florida humidity also makes the roof dryer vent stacks “sticky” and you have to dig blocks of lint of the stacks, while trying not to fall off the roof. So, this product seemed like a game changer. However, a friend of mine, who is a home inspector, told me that these products trap moisture and heat into their area and will actually cause faults and cracks in your ceilings and drywall. To be fair we live in Florida, so we live in a very humid environment already where moisture is always a problem. He said he has seen where people put these in their garage and actually can’t understand why the popcorn ceiling is falling off in chunks only to learn that this was the problem the entire time. So just beware and do a little research ahead of time. We ended up sending this back and hiring a contractor to vent it to the exterior wall. ... show more
