    • Perfect for the small space I wanted
I really love this aquarium kit. I have a narrow space in front of a larger guppy tank and most nano-cubes are still too large, but this is the perfect size and it has more viewing area than a cube. I like the more standard rectangular proportioned size. It has almost everything you'd need, except maybe a heater, but I think most people would put a betta or two in here, or I plan to use this as a guppy grow out tank with some snails, which don't need a heater. Also it does not include gravel, but gravel color is highly personalized and everybody has their own preference, or sand is an option as well. The filter is adorable lol, it's effective, and appropriate for the size. The skimmer is a bonus since most filters that I've seen don't include that feature. The filter motor is almost silent and I can barely hear it. Small tanks are easily bumped and they move and splash, but that worry is reduced with the adhesive white foam attached to the bottom. I have other tiny tanks that included a loose pad, which is a really good idea for glass bottom tanks without a plastic trim. I'm not sure which I like better because I wonder how long the foam will last and if it will need to be scraped off and replaced, but we'll see, that's just a minor concern. It includes lids which is a great idea if you're going to have small fish that jump, such as neons or other tetras. The light is super bright, I wish it could be dimmed, but will have to remember not to leave it on too long each day or algae could become an issue. It's a super cool tank with super clear low-iron glass, it's one of my favorites that I have and great for babies or maybe a hospital tank when necessary, to cut down on medication.     • All you need for this little fish tank is gravel and some bio to make it thrive.
We got this 3 gallon nano glass aquarium for our 10-year-old son. It's a perfect size and it comes with everything that you need. The light seems to be working and has a complete spectrum, the filter is an odd size, but you're able to open it up and replace the carbon, and the tank itself is pretty decent quality. I do wish the tank was a tiny bit thicker but overall I'm pretty happy with how it looks and functions. When you set up any new tank, make sure you add some bio and if possible, fresh growing plants. You want to do this before you add the fish, so there is a stable ecosystem and you don't put the fish to the stress of cycling the tank. Any new tank needs to stabilize to provide a less stressful environment for new fish. But, overall I'm fairly happy with everything. I do wish there was a touch bit more quality but, it works and I will post pictures in the future. ... show more

I don’t have my fish yet but this little tank is lovely! The water used to fill to the point pictured was actually only 2 gallons + about 16 ounces. Not a big deal to me that it’s not truly a 3 gallon tank because I like the size so I didn’t deduct a star for that. The top is grooved to fit the included filter & light perfectly. They both work great and were easy to put on - though, at the end of a long tiring day, it did take my hubby and me a few minutes to get the filter pipes put together in the correct places haha. I like that the cord on the light has a simple button to push in to turn it off and on but *NOTE* that it is about 12” from the end of the plug so, if you’re plugging it up in a hard-to-get-to place, you won’t be able to access the off and on button. The glass is crystal clear and the tiny bubbles on the sides are sure to disappear once the fish are swimming around. I’m not having beta fish so I didn’t need the divider but it seems to be the perfect solution for a 1 tank/double beta set up. (The auto fish feeder & plants in the pics did not come with the aquarium) ... show more

I like this 3 gallon nano rimless tank and it looks stunning with the high quality 4mm glass. The tank comes with a tank divider but I wouldn't recommend using it because 3 gallons is already the minimum size that I would recommend for keeping a single betta fish. The LED light clamps onto the tank and it has a flexible neck that can be adjusted easily; it also holds its position well. The hang on back (HOB) tank filter is a great size for this small tank and it can be adjusted slower which is ideal for betta fish who don't like fast moving water. This tank comes with a white form pad already adhered to the bottom of the tank. My only negative critique has to do with the lid; the lid is actually separated into two halves which isn't necessary and it prevents you from being able to attach the light in the center of the tank. I wish the lid was made from one piece that had a cutout on the backside which wouldn't interfere with the mounting of the light or the HOB filter. I think this is a great starter tank that comes with the main components needed to get started and I would recommend this product. ... show more
