I use grade 8 hardware for truck projects and general use around the garage. These yellow zinc grade 8 washers are high quality. There are no rough edges and the packaging didn’t break open in transit. They are true to size and specification, will work great for all my projects.

Though I have no official eqy to check the grade if the washer they look the same as Hillman. The difference is for this washer at the local hardware store is .14 cents or so. A bit steep. This bag is a huge savings not to mention time and gas to the store. I'd say for home projects this is the way to go! Thick and hefty and they measure as advertised. Arrived exactly as described. Top quality lock washers. 3/8 Grade 8 Split Lock Washer Yellow zinc finish. No issues with any of the split lock washers when using with corresponding fasteners. 3/8" (100 Pack) Grade 8 Split Lock Washer, Thru-Hardened, Yellow zinc -- Exactly what the description says they are. Nothing wrong with them. Nothing exceptional about them. 3/8” split lock washers size measured correctly. My only negative would be that they shorted the package by one washer. I have counted many bags of hardware for these reviews. Until now the count has always come out exact or one or two items over. I almost didn’t count this one. A bulk 100 pack of these at the big box store is going to cost roughly twice the price of these on Amazon at $11.99. Would have been 5 stars if the package had not been short. ... show more

    • Good looking and fit well.
This size (3/8 inch) bolt is very common on home-built hot rods, and I have been running short of lock washers. These fit well, look good, and I hope I don't discover a year down the road that they have any problems, but I don't foresee that.

Just what I was looking for 3/8” lock washers. These are made really well and the will get a lot of use. They are made really well with a zinc finish, so they have a yellow tint to them. They are hardened steel and work perfectly. 100 washers bagged and at a good price. At a big box store, they were almost the same price for only 20 washers. These will get a lot of use. ... show more
