This is a fair, sturdy-built, front-side teleconverter. However, I would recommend it only be used with the smaller Nikkor lenses like the 35mm or 50mm primes, or lenses with a filter size of 55mm or less. Though it says it's for full-frame cameras, I tried it on my Nikon D7000 which has a smaller, DX-sized sensor. Even with the smaller sensor there is still a good deal of "tunnel view" and considerable chromatic aberration (purple fringe) starting about half way from center image out to the edge. See sample image which shows the teleconverter used with the Nikkor 55-200mm lens @ 55mm and shows the least amount of "tunnel view" of the lenses I currently have. ... show more
