I will be using this for a kayak anchor and it seems to fit the bill. I was able to get this for $18.99 with coupon and appears to be a very good deal. Anchor looks like cast iron with 3.5 lb cast into the stem. Kitchen scales read 3.3 lb. Only PVC is hollow, white bouy. Storage bag is nicely padded and of good quality. Anchor rope will be plenty strong. The clip on the anchor rope is medium to heavy duty; not too small or too big. Anchor is coated in bright silver colored coating that is not easily scratched off. Anchor stands 12" tall and 11" diameter when fully expanded. Built in mechanism to hold it in collapsed position is a little loose but should do the job. Happy paddling!! ... show more
