I had the rug positioned under a few couches in my living room and have not had any issues with the rug slipping or sliding. The rug itself is super soft and very comfortable to walk on. I did not notice any smell when opening the package. I love that the rug is washable, however at the large size I would take it the a laundry mat instead of using a home washer to be sure it’s cleaned thoroughly. Overall great value. I bought this for my home office. I needed a rug that was durable and washable because of kids & pets. I also wanted a rug that did not need a rug pad under it. This delivered! It's so pretty and I was surprised at how soft it is. I have not had a chance to wash it yet (fingers crossed I won't need to for a while), but I can attest that it does not slip and stays in place. This is the absolute most beautiful inexpensive rug I’ve ever had the pleasure of purchasing. The quality is fantastic, it seems to be pretty durable, it’s so very soft, and the colors are beautiful. My only complaint would have to be a small 1” yellow stain on the rug, but even with that, I have to give this a 5 start rating, it’s just that nice. Hopefully the stain will wash out, it appears as though it will. Plus you can’t beat the price of $40 for 5x7 rug. I will most definitely purchase another for my kids room. ... show more

This rug is so soft and so beautiful. I’m considering buying another one for my bedroom. It looks great in my living room. It flattened out quickly so no wrinkles and I just wanna lay on it all day! Highly recommend for the price and convenience.

Received quickly, super soft, the color was absolutely perfect. Well made, quality rug. It was light but not too much-I used it to go under a rocker recliner on a hardwood floor- the was not sliding when I sat in the chair so it definitely gripped the floor. I definitely recommend!
