It says to unscrew the face to put in batteries but the screws are stripped and will not unscrew. I cannot put in batteries and the original batteries are already dead and I haven’t even put it up yet!

The Automatic Door was very easy to install. In fact it only took me 5 minutes, and that was because I was being super careful. The aluminum door and frame seems sturdy enough for my chickens and the digital was simple to modify. It was as easy as setting a clock. I like the fact that the mode of operation offers several options, from dusk to dawn operation, to a manual time, and lux adjustment suitable for your area and season of the year. This door keeps me from having to let the chickens in and out 2x a day. It works exactly as described. Make sure you have AAA batteries. Their solar panel is sold out or I would have opted for that as well, but the batteries are supposed to last 6 months.
