I have had a rather disappointing experience with this product, to say the least. The functionality of this system leaves much to be desired, as it appears to operate on its terms rather than mine. The inconsistency in its performance is a major drawback, and it often fails to function smoothly. One of the most frustrating aspects of this product is its sluggishness. The system is painstakingly slow, taking an excruciatingly long 2 minutes just to load up something as basic as Google Maps. This severely impacts its practicality and usefulness in a fast-paced world where efficiency is paramount. The volume knob, albeit functional, is not without its flaws. It does work, but the responsiveness is sorely lacking. It is disappointingly slow to react to adjustments, making it a cumbersome and frustrating experience when trying to fine-tune the audio output to one's liking. Furthermore, the touch response of this product is far from satisfactory. It exhibits a frustratingly laggy behavior, making simple interactions a tedious task. There have been instances where the touch functionality completely failed to register, leaving me immensely frustrated and questioning the overall reliability of the product. In conclusion, this product has proven to be a considerable letdown, showcasing inconsistent performance, sluggishness, unresponsive controls, and a disappointing touch interface. I would strongly advise potential consumers to carefully consider these drawbacks before investing in this particular product. There are certainly better alternatives available in the market that offer a more seamless and efficient user experience. This isn't bad for the price. Screen is nice but horizontally polarized so doesnt work with polarized sunglasses. Customizing features and changing settings is very poorly documented and it took some time to make it work. I had to change the camera input to NTSC to work with my prewired camera on my Class C; I had to get into the low level configuration and dig around for a setting that looked like it was the camera mode I needed to change. I was also able to remap the soft buttons to provide a true back button inplace of the voice control button (this was very difficult to configure). I was unable to get the touch button to have a blue back light, the supplier claims this model is limited to green/red. I find this response odd but I'll live with red for now. Wireless android auto takes a very long time to pair and I usually have to toggle airplane mode on my phone to try to make this happen faster (S22 Ultra). It also doesn't seem to support pinch zooming so makes reviewing routes difficult. I've tried to use hotspot data from my phone and navigate with built in Google Maps but it was very slow to get GPS state and would not maintain accuracy causing numerousing rerouting events. Sound quality is significantly better than the Dual headunit I replaced. TLDR: When it works, it works - but when its doesn't the sluggishness and delays can get frustrating. ... show more

So I've swapped between 3 stereos in my 17 Sentra and after renting a 2023 Sentra I was introduced to Apple Carplay ( I know I'm late). I decided to search through the available options for my car and I came across this stereo. There were no specifications that restricted me from being able to put this into my car so I purchased it. I previously had a flush 9.5 inch screen and I thought this would be a flush unit as well, but I was in for a surprise. When it arrived it came packaged with all the accessories. I had a harness that I purchased with an earlier stereo install so I didn't have to do any splicing of the wires, if you can afford this option, do purchase a wire harness instead of splicing the wires. I attached the harness provided with this unit and it was a perfect fit. It is a single din and my car is made for a double so I mounted it low on the brackets. Another issue I ran into was it sat further out than I would like and interfered with my windshield washer switch. The brackets that came with the unit did not allow the stereo to sit back far enough so I purchased a separate bracket and faceplate (these are vehicle specific or you can use the one that came in your car). I set the unit as far back on the brackets as possible and put a faceplate on to hide the exposed gap behind the new unit. Pictures will explain what I mean. After a few days I have had no issues with the unit and love the features. -The screen transitions are smooth and the gps is very accurate. Carplay works via bluetooth or tethering. - The screen can be removed with 2 side clicks and hidden away and I purchased a tablet screen cover to protect it from scratches. (personal Preference) -The screen has a pivot so it can turn and be moved up and down this helps when there is a glare or you just want a better view) -It also has wiring for nighttime lighting for the 4 buttons across the bottom (they glow orange) -If your car has steering wheels controls the unit has steering wheel memory built in for you to program your buttons -There is a physical volume knob that can be pushed to turn the power/volume off (if you've had a screen volume button that glitched you know how important this feature is) Overall this is a 30 minute install if you have all the tools you need in advance. Suggested tools; Faceplate (Nissan models to hide the open gap around the single din) bracket (again Nissan sentra issue not sure about other models/makes) Harness (harness' are specific to models/makes so be sure you purchase the correct one for your vehicle) flathead/toolset screen protector ... show more

BLUETOOTH SUCKS AND YOU CANT CHANGE ANY AUDIO SETTINGS , there is no treble or bass or any type of selections like that just ‘ mixed ratio that all sounds the same from the selection of 0-100
