It works. I just set it up. No instructions but I looked at the photo. Its been one day so I cant speak on longevity but the price was right. These can go as low at 7.00 on amazon at the moment so Im not too upset. Cheap to make Im sure. Usb doesnt quite fit so Im sure some are wayyyy off. So 1 star removed for that. Will update in 90 days. 3 month update- One week from now I will hit my 3 months with this product. It hasnt failed me yet. Only thing I noticed is recording and live views are much slower than cloud recording. I suppose its because it saves clips to the card so its hard to record AND let you live view at the same time. You'll usually see a "action cant be done right now, wait a moment" type message when motion is detected and you want to look at live viewing. If you dont mind that- its a great product. Ill mention the price on these babies can go up but they arent worth more than 10 bucks in my opinion. But nevertheless it beats that amazon cloud subscription. Also, this product saves you battery life in the long run. Flash drive Device is barely full so 256 GB is more than enough for you. So I would still recommend. ... show more

I have had nothing but issues since I've bought the sync module and USB storage. I kept thinking it was the module but now I realize it's been the flash drive all along. Constantly having to reformate because it locks down and won't show videos and now it won't even recognize the flash drive. I've only used it 3 months. ... show more
