I ordered this netting originally to fence in some chickens temporarily. But then I realized the netting has holes of 2.4" and a chicken can get their head caught, so they should remove that usage. But it is still good for any of your fruit trees you want to protect from your own animals or birds. 25 feet by 50 feet is a lot of netting, so you can double it up so the holes aren't so big! This product has its uses. It is relatively strong for what it is. HOWEVER! At this price point you expect wayyyy better.... this is best compared to fishnet stockings but stronger. Every single thing that touches it sticks and get tangled. So if you use this on planets, near bushes, anything! It's one time use. Maybe if you had one large swath and it's this similar size then maybe?!? Last but not least... it's not rectangle... if you spread it out it looks rectangle but the instant you mount one side the shape completely deforms and other side looks terrible. Excellent deal for this netting at 25' by 50'. This is excellent nylon netting and good for many uses. I am using mine this spring for the portable garden beds, attaching the netting onto stakes around the bed. This netting works perfectly for keeping deer, Raccoons and even squirrels out, not to mention birds. The mesh is a little large at almost 2.5" but I find that if I need the mesh to be tighter I just double this net over itself, there is plenty here. Living in a rural area with plenty of deer I also will be using the netting when I plant my grass seed. I add new grass seed every year and I always have a problem with the deer and the birds. By using this netting and laying it out over the newly seeded area, I use stakes position into the ground to support this netting. It works great because the deer hate how this netting feels when they try to step on it. It also keeps the larger birds out and the squirrels. I still lose a little seed to smaller critters but for the most part the critters do not like the netting and will avoid it. This is a great size for the cost too. it comes packaged up pretty good so the first thing to do is take some time to lay it out on the lawn and get it to lay flat, then what I do is fold it up over itself like a sheet, that way when I am ready to use it I can easily unravel it and use what I need. I was surprised at how strong this netting is. It has done the job of keeping my chickens and other critters out of my garden. Spreading it over and around the garden, utilizing posts and iron arches, was pretty easy.
