This is a great starter kit for anyone interested in fuse beads. It's slightly more expensive than the big mixed tubs you can buy, but that's more than made up for in the time and energy you save by not needing to sort the colors. The container is flimsy, but functional. If you don't try to carry it by the handle it should hold up just fine. The dividers don't fit together perfectly, but it's not bad enough to be a nuisance imo. Two of the four square boards arrived with a couple missing pegs on the very edges, but that can easily be worked around if needed. The two boards I have used so far warped a little bit after using them only a couple times, but I think that may be avoidable if you place a heavy book on top of it immediately after ironing, though I don't know if that would prevent it for sure. The beads melt really nicely. I would have liked a slightly different assortment of colors (a standard orange, a light brown, a light yellow, etc), but what it came with will be easy enough to add to as needed. The extra items and stack of patterns that come with this are a nice touch. I don't know that I'll use anything aside from the keychains, but there's a good assortment of things to choose from and they're definitely a nice addition for kiddos. The items in the picture are the first couple things I made with this kit, and I'm very happy with the results thus far. It's been fun to experiment with different ironing techniques and playing with making two versus three dimensional items. I would recommend this kit for anyone just starting out with fuse beads, or for kids. Just make sure you put the container together the right way, and use a heavy book after ironing and you should be good. ... show more

Great kit but the box is a pain to assemble and the lid pops off during carrying, so don't use the handle. Other than that, it's a great kit for groups of children who love perler beads! Great value!

This is a project that can be used over and over again. The box is a little cheap. Its not so sturdy and quality is not so great but still works.

This kit comes with a wide variety of pieces and accessories to make several fun projects with. It does not come with the iron which is the only other item you would need to complete a project. I would highly recommend this as a starter pack for anyone interested in getting started with melting beads at a great price. The case is a bit flimsy and does not always stay securely snapped closed but it is better than nothing and it is nice to have a place to sort your beads. The beads are a bit more soft/melty than the name brand ones but work just as good overall if you try not to use more heat than necessary and are a overall really a great value for the price. I have purchased two of these kits now and would buy again just for the variety of colors and for the great value for how many beads you get with it. ... show more

    • The storage container is flimsy but the beads are worth it
Bought this item recently. I saw all the comments about the storage container and was of two minds. The storage container comes with separators that the buyer has to install but they are for the most part flimsy and ill-fitting. Your beads will get mixed up if you go this route; just keep them in the bags and disregard the separators. Everything else is worth it. Definite value for money ... show more
