  • Durable and Versatile
Color: Black
This is a great tactical backpack for the money. The material, fasteners, and zippers are all of high quality. The pack has lots of internal pockets, including a large pocket in the back compartment that easily fits my 16" laptop. The molle system connectors on the rear compartment will easily and securely accept a smaller accessory pack for smaller items. I expect to get plenty of hard use from this durable piece of equipment. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Best pack I've owned thus far
This backpack is so roomy, I stowed a 15 inch laptop, a 16 inch external monitor, all cables needed, 2 battery packs, an extension cord and a change of clothes... All in the main compartment. I live the waterproofing on the inside of the bag and zippers. The padding in the main compartment definitely worked as intended as none of my electronics were damaged during heavy rain. The color is legit, nothing I've seen in other backpacks, it definitely looks pretty legit The zippers had this little locking loops for small s clip, or lock, which I used to prevent them from opening during hiking and transport. The straps a super comfortable with the right amount of padding, not overly bulky, and definitely not flimsy. Will definitely buy from this brand again. ... show more

  • Extremely useful
I love this backpack and wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I got it to hold my camera gear and a few essentials (like a change of clothing) when I travel and it is great. I had some leftover foam from redoing some chairs so I cut that to fit my equipment as padding, so the bag can hold even my 800mm lens, and it was a lot cheaper than the bags/backpacks made for camera gear. There are a bunch of pockets: 1 large/main compartment with a padded place to hold either a tablet or laptop; a second, slimmer compartment; and then two smaller compartments on the front (one at the top and one, larger one at the bottom). In addition, there is another zippered compartment in the back that is slim but very useful for things like travel documents and/or maps. I put a bit of padding in the main compartment, which is where I store my camera and lenses. The bag has some padding already, but I use the foam to keep the camera and lenses separated and protected. I use the second main compartment for clothing (or whatever), and then the two front pouches contain things like batteries, cables, memory cards, etc. THe botttom small pouch (and it isn't all that small, after all) is padded, so I'm comfortable putting things like my Kindle inside that pocket--it fits fine and has the pouch padding to protect it. Inside the main compartment is another pocket which could be used to hold an MP3 player as there is a small, flap-covered opening directly above it for use with wired headphones/buds. There are additional small pockets inside the other compartments, so with all the straps, etc, you can pretty much attach/bring along, anything you desire. Note: There is no side pocket for a water bottle, but I have a reusable water bottle with a loop so I just attach it to one of the straps and then tuck it beneath some of the side straps so that it doesn't swing around too much when I'm walking and that works just fine. On the other side, I attach my tripod in a similar fashion, i.e. secure it to the top loop with a small bungee, and then tuck the tripod under the side straps to keep it from swinging around when I walk--that works for me. Your mileage may differ. The small, topmost pouch also has the "fuzzy side" of velcro on the front, so if you have gear that has the hook side of velcro on it, you can attach it in that area--there is also a bit of elastic looped through that area so that anything attached with velcro can be further secured under the elastic. Because the gear can be heavy when the bag contains everything, I especially like the fact that there is both a chest strap and a waist strap to keep the padded shoulder straps in place and more evenly distribute the weight. The bag is therefore super easy and comfortable to carry, despite the weight. There are numerous straps that can be used with clips to carry more gear, as well. Overall, the bag seems to be very well made. The reverse side of the canvas has a rubbery coating to help make the bag water resistant. Since the zippers aren't covered by flaps, I wouldn't rely on the bag to be waterproof, per se, but it is certainly better protected than many bags I've used in the past. It works as a travel bag/camera bag for me and fits under a seat on the airlines. For me, it has been the perfect solution without costing the earth, and it's more flexible than a standard camera bag. When I don't want my camera gear with me (which is almost never, but still...) then it works as a good travel bag and can hold several days' worth of clothing and necessities. It is great for camping/hiking because I can set it on the damp ground and not worry about getting my clothing or other stuff wet thanks to the rubbery coating on the reverse side of the canvas. Frankly, this is the most useful thing I own at the moment. ... show more

  • 5 stars had it not arrived with mold in 1 compartment and a questionable zipper in another.
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Honest review of 24BattlePack Tactical Backpack | 1 to 3 Day Assault Pack | Combat Veteran Owned Company |40L Bug Out Bag (Black) @ $69.95 (excluding tax) at time of order. With my old “go bag” starting to fail with several of the zippered compartments’ zippers no longer working right, I started searching for a new one and reading reviews. My old one was not a backpack but was more of a travel bag. After much consideration, I opted for this backpack. It offers 40L of inside storage and lots of Molle space on the outside. It seems durable. One of the compartments (pictured) arrived with what appeared to be moldy spots all inside of it. I was able to clean them, but almost sent it back for a replacement. Also, one of the zippered compartments (inside another compartment) arrived with the zipper looking as though it pulled apart. I was able to zip and unzip it and it seemed to rectify the problem. 2 strikes against the bag so far I thought. Ultimately, I was able to transfer everything from my old bag into this one and had a little room left. I utilized that for a large tumbler that I had to carry separately before. It’s unlikely that I will ever use the straps on the bottom that allows for packing something horizontally (like a tripod, etc.). Likes: Lots of compartments that are pretty well organized in sizes so that everything layers, so to speak. There are also lots of compartments inside of the other compartments, some zippered and others like mesh pockets. It has a compartment for a hydration pack, but I don’t foresee me using that either. As of now, I have used it for a different purpose. The zippers and zipper cords seem sturdy. It has lots of straps to aid in securing down things on the outside and securing the backpack to your body. It comes with a US Flag (sort of a rubbery material) that attaches to the Velcro on the bag. There are 2 places on either side of the flag for affixing other hook and loop patches. The material itself seems durable, but even filled with my stuff, it’s not as heavy and cumbersome as I thought it would be. The carrying handle seems affixed well and sturdy. I like Molle rigs, and this backpack has a lot of them. The price point was not all that bad for what you get. When filled, it does a good job of staying upright when sitting it on a hard surface. It also comes with one D-Ring carabiner. Only time will tell how well it holds up. Dislikes: I was NOT pleased with the mold or dirt (but sure looked like mold) inside the one compartment. Nor was I pleased with the zipper that was pulled apart. I cannot help but wonder if I got a bag that was returned. Mehs: It comes with a 1-year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee, but in order to get it you must subscribe to their email list. Cannot attest to’s: I have not worn it as a backpack so I cannot tell you how it rides or how comfortable it is that way (as it is right now, it is not practical for me to wear it in that manner). As stated, I will not be using a hydration pack, so I cannot say how it does in that aspect either. It will accommodate a laptop up to 17”, but that is another thing I will not utilize at this time. It is reportedly water resistant, but I did not test it. The material feels like the material that I have on other things that I can attest to being water resistant. It has a Velcro handgun holster slot, but I used that for something else since my handgun is worn on my side. Hopefully this helps someone decide about getting this product. ... show more

  • Perfect medic bag
Color: Black
This bag is well made, lightweight, good quality with tons of space and pockets to organize all my gear / supplies neatly for easy access. Love the molle loops, side straps are perfect hanging IV pole off the side. No water bottle holder, but was able to tie & strap a water bottle koozie on the side that worked perfectly! Highly recommend this bag! ... show more
