We purchased these to put on our outdoor metal chair legs for our patio table and chair set. This is put on a new Trex deck. Although the bottoms of the chairs have plastic on them and the Trex deck is supposed to be scratch free, we noticed a light scratch already. So we purchased these covers, and they are nice. They are a little bit more money than other brands, but they are a nice quality and the felt feels pretty good. They work well on the chairs and grip well onto them well. I would say that also slide decently between the Trex cracks between boards well too. They feel fine to sit on and we have no worries that they will scratch the deck. I would suggest if you measure and are right on the cusp between sizes, go SMALLER. The cover bit stretches well and it is tight. You probably want it as tight as you can to keep water from going into the cap and to also keep it on the foot of the chair. You can always return them, but we found they can be stretched a little beyond what they can and they grip the chair leg very well and seem to be just perfect. We also used some slightly larger ones on the patio table. Those were angled legs not straight down. The covers (we got the same type but a different size) don't fit as well because of the angle that the legs come to the ground. That said, the rubber is tight enough to hold it on just fine. Overall, we recommend these and think they are worth the little extra price that they are as compared to other ones! ... show more

The shape is perfect for rectangle chair legs, easy to put on and now when someone sits at the island the chairs slide effortlessly and quietly. They have not ripped or stretched and look great on the chair legs as if they were an original part of the design.

Our chairs are on uneven stone floors and most pads slip and tear when the chairs are moved. These pads are a VERY snug fit yet pretty easy to attach. I bought these felt pads to protect my newly refinished hardwood floors. They are a little smaller than needed but they work. I actually like that they are a little small because they stay on the chair legs better. The rubber is very strong and the felt pad is a nice size. I hope the felt lasts a long time. I will update if that is not the case. I like the clear rubber so you see the chair leg not the rubber. I am so far very happy with them. They do slide on the floor but it has been a little humid here and they do stick a little to the floor. But when the humidity is gone they slide fine. Bought these to protect our Saltillo tile from the new pub table chairs. I had been using the stick on felt strips but with pets it seemed more hair stuck to the strip than to the actual chair so I took a chance on these and so glad I did.     • Just What I Needed

I have tile floors. My dining room chairs have a large nails in the legs. They would scrape on the tiles when moving the chairs. I tried stick-on felt pads. They eventually fell off. I put these silicone floor protectors onto the chair legs, even with the large nails still in them. They work wonderfully. They are not very noticeable, since they are clear. No more noise. No more scratching. Be sure to order the correct size for your chair legs. UPDATE: They seemed to work fine with the large nails left in the bottom of the chair legs. However, 5 months later, they are tearing because they were not able to remain completely flat on the floor. So, DO NOT keep large nails in the chair legs. Remove them prior to slipping on these silicone covers. I will be ordering more to replace the damaged ones. They will go on only after we remove those nails. They are a good product. ... show more
