  • Ample Egg Incubator for DIY Poultry
Product Reviewed: 21 Egg Incubator for Hatching for $110 less $7 coupon TL;DR; Overall great machine; Egg candle light not bright enough Very similar to a higher end 12 egg machine I bought 2 years ago. Simple design that lets you easily adjust temperature and day count. I really like that you can adjust the countdown to whatever you want, this allows you to run any type of egg. It’s rotation is based on an egg roller that turns 360 degrees - I prefer this over the tilting style. The egg area is spacious enough for both chicken and duck eggs - it is likely too small for goose eggs and too big for quail eggs. Measurements: 2” wide by 2.5” long (note it’s tapered so larger at one end than the other. Adding water is easy using the access port and the footprint isn’t bad for 21 eggs at 13” across. You can switch from C to F. There’s an indicator for heating and egg turning. I also like that when it comes time to stop the turner you just unplug the motor and do not have to disturb the eggs. The plastic is easy to clean, especially lower grates. Air vent is large and easy to use. Having the cancel light is a nice feature. It is very quiet and is C UL so good for use in Canada and the US. Unit draws 30W maximum. Fits 21 chicken eggs comfortably and would easily fit 21 duck eggs. Points for consideration: • external temperatures highly effect these style incubators. Instructions recommend 73-90f external temp. • Watching the rotations, it seems the outer ring of eggs does a very nice turn every hour (about ¾) but those located in the inner ring only rotate a ¼ turn or less. • The egg candling light isn’t bright enough to be of use. 4.5 stars only 1/2 point off for the candling light. How I review: Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points. - 0 for value but I try to provide guidance -0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel -0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range. If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings. ... show more

  • Works great
I’m really impressed with the hatch rate I got from this incubator most of my eggs from it hatched! It did a great job holding a steady temp and humidity and was easy to adjust when it got low or needed to raise for hatching.

  • Egg Incubator for Hatching Chickens
This incubator is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to hatch their own eggs at home. The automatic egg turning feature is a game changer, as it ensures that all eggs are evenly rotated for optimal development. The automatic egg turning and humidity control are fantastic additions that will undoubtedly make the hatching process much easier and more successful. The ability to hold 21 chicken eggs at once is also a great advantage, allowing for a larger hatch rate and saving time and energy. The design of the incubator is sleek and modern, and I can't wait to put it to use. Overall, I have high hopes for this incubator and am confident that it will be a successful tool for hatching chickens. I look forward to utilizing all of its features and seeing the results firsthand. ... show more

  • Egg incubator
The media could not be loaded. Incubator to hatch fertile eggs. This incubator holds 21 chicken eggs, 40 to 50 quail egg and I imagine any egg that will fit in the tray can probably be hatched. I plugged it in ran it for a day it seems to be operable as it should be,.pretty straightforward. It comes with a power cord that gets plugged in at the top of the incubator another wire that comes from inside the incubator gets plugged in next to the power cord. There is a sliding disc that vents the inside of the incubator located at the top and this is how the humidity can be controlled. There is a compartment outside and at the bottom of the incubator with a yellow lid simply take it off add water put it back on - this is where the water goes for getting humidity inside of the incubator. It's too cold right now to bring any more little chicks into the world but in a month or two I plan on hatching out gambles or California quail next. I will post pictures at that time. ... show more

  • love it
If you are looking to purchase an incubator at a good price then look no further! I definitely recommend this one. It is easy to use and there is no need to read the instructions as it is very self explanatory. zi used this one for my last batch that has had great success. When I say it is easy to use i mean it already comes pre set for chicken egg hatching. It has a countdown so you know how many days are left. it has an integrated LED light to candle the eggs you can cover and open the breathing hole to maintain the humidity percentage, it also has an automatic egg turner and it automatically turns off on day 18. I didnt even have to mess with the humidity as it keeps very well. I incubated 13 eggs to try it out and on day 10 when we candled the eggs we found out 4 were not fertile so we got rid of them and after that we had 100% success with the remaining 9 eggs as every single one hatched. This is the first time we have such results as this is my 4th incubator and i believe it will be the one we stay with from now on. ... show more

  • Eggs incubator
The media could not be loaded. I like that it’s lightweight. The incubator has a rotation mode and the options for adjusting temperatures. There’s also a built in light to see the inside development of the eggs embryo. Overall I don’t like how there are two cords it’s very confusing but it is what it is. ... show more

Planning on raising some chickens in the upcoming year and wanted an incubator. Picked this one up for the features, such as rotation --- TRUST ME - Key, I had an incubator in the past and I had to rotate them manually. A whole lot of .....NOPE. Anyhow, easy to use -- and I will update this once I have hatched some chicks. Thanks!!! ... show more
