The light was not terribly hard to put together compared to others that I have done, the problem was some of the white pieces were not Marked with letters and vary in sizes. To make it easier for you the smaller white wood pieces are the sides and screw into the top 2 that creat a cross. the cord goes thru the two larger pieces they create and X that have a hole drilled. The wood piece without a hole in the middle is the very bottom of the light and just screws in at the edges no hole needed. This light is the perfect size for a dining room was really very easy to put together once I figured it out without having things properly marked and looks great in the space! It’s absolutely beautiful but the company needs to do better quality inspections. The holes are not perfectly lined up and the untreated wood shows. Lucky I have Jacobean stain and can color it in but I shouldn’t have to.. Also no plugs for screw holes.. overall really love the look so I’m keeping it but not great. ... show more

I've been looking at several stores for something like this to put above our table and it looks great. The 40 watt bulbs it takes aren't super common but they had one box in stock at Walmart so I was able to get it lit up right away to make sure it worked.

This lamp I love but it was missing the plugs that go in the holes on the bottom. I contacted the seller and he said it suppose to be like that. It was a different color inside that I had to paint the hole the same color as the light.
