I was able to thread it in less than 15 minutes, with another person. I threaded another door by myself, but it is easier with two. The rubber is elastic, to my surprise, when I worked it. The size of the bulb " P " where it anchors the grill of my garage door is significantly smaller that the PIC shown. I had it assemble only to find out that the size is much smaller. Since it was considered used, I had to toss it out. Everything else great, the length, the quality.

I ordered this garage door seal as mine needed to be replaced. upon arrival I noticed that the P. bead was smaller than anticipated so I had to crimp the channel that the rubber would feed into on the garage door. wasn't much trouble but still had to do some extra work so that's why I had to four stars. ... show more

This fit my double car 2" insulated Overhead Garage door. As I learned from my former vinyl seal that was more like a folded piece of plastic, this rubber seal should have been a great improvement. But I was wrong. I waited too long to give it a chance and now I can't return it past the 30 days. It comes as a flat tube which looks more like a rubber wall at the bottom of the door. I thought it would eventually flatten, but it never did. It is so hard this way that it keeps my garage door from closing completely. In fact I had an alarm go off from it because it kept my sensors from meeting together by an inch so after a few days my alarm set off at 3am. Either way I have gap issues now because my concrete floor isn't perfectly smooth and the seal doesn't flatten to conform to it as my vinyl one did. My only option is to get a vinyl one again or force the door to close harder which I don't like the sound of that. Good luck with this one. ... show more

This was an exact replacement for my old door seal. The way they ship it rolled up it does not have the circular part like the picture shows. I assume over time it will open up. It still goes to floor and touches. I think in the long run it will fix itself.

The slightly offset seal is what my garage door needs. The old one was cut too short by a few inches. The rain sips in. This seal replaces and fits perfectly, and the recent rain water no long sips into the garage. Yay!

This was a quality product, but it didn’t fit. I took a risk getting it as I wasn’t sure what style of part I needed. This part, other than being quality, arrived on time and was packaged well. I’m so sad I could not use it on my garage. I didn’t know how to find the “model” of my garage so I thought this would fit as most parts like this are .19 for the insert. I was wrong. I will have to call a garage tech. Theyll know better. No more DIY on this for me. ... show more
