I bought this WiFi extender because I needed to get a signal in my garage. My router was in my basement so my signal had to go through the floor and four walls. Needless to say the signal on that part of my house was poor and in my garage it was pathetic. WiFi is important to me because I learned that the cell tower, for my phone, is 6 miles across the lake from my home. The maximum number of bars that I get was ONE. Therefore I got many dropped calls and had to say, “can you hear me now?” far to many times. I kind of solved that problem by using WiFi to access the cell provider. Needless to say that I couldn’t move around much while on my cell phone because of my spotty Wifi signal. I found the Paleoer extender on Amazon. The reason I selected the Paleoer was because of the claimed range and price. I never buy the cheapest when it comes to electronics because you always get what you pay for. I am more than satisfied with its performance. It was really simple to install and it boosted my signal significantly. I have an office with computer and smart TV on the main floor, but my router is in the utility room in my basement. I also have two computers and another TV in the basement as well as three printers that I can access using WiFi. Before I purchased the Paleoer I had very limited access to my devices. Prior to purchasing the extender I used an app that allowed me to see the strength of my WiFi signal throughout my home. I had many places where the signal was poor especially towards the garage area. After installing the Paleoer extender my signal in the garage and that part of my house is significantly better. I still had a poor area so I bought a second extender to cover that area as well. Initially I allowed the extender to provide it’s own SSID names. Then I learned that I could use the same SSID as my router. This was a significant improvement because my cell phones didn’t have to change which SSID they connected with. Previous to my change, my cell phones would hold onto a weaker signal when a stronger signal was available. I can now get the maximum strength WiFi signal where ever I am in my house. The network speed is also much faster. My TV never has those periodic pauses to refill the buffer. It's definitely a great device, and it's worth the price. I will also recommend this product to my friends. Their customer service was also excellent. In general, this product is very easy to use and easy to use. The media could not be loaded. If you want to improve the coverage and strength of WiFi signals in an apartment or home, and the router you currently use isn't quite powerful enough, then this is a perfect product for you. I can say that i'm very satisfied with this WiFi extender. Unfortunately the last WiFi extender I bought stopped working after a month, so when I saw other buyer's comments and accolades; I decided to try this one. The setup of this WiFi extender is very simple, probably one of the easiest technology setup I have ever experienced. It took me less than two minutes! My family needs to use a WiFi extender because our house is too big to reach everyone's rooms. My router is in the living room. But I can't connect to WiFi in my bedroom from our router. If you don't know anything about Wifi or have never used a WiFi extender before, this product is perfect because it is so simple to set up. Living on a renovated school bus means there will be times that we may not have a close wifi connection. But with this wifi extender I have been able to get a much better signal from a further distance with ease. I have had several extenders in the past, but not all are created equal. The size of this extender is a bit larger, with 4 antennas to boost signal. It is a better, beefier design which feels like it will last. The antennas on my previous extenders were flimsy and even broke off at one point. I would highly recommend this extender to anyone who needs to be able to have access to wifi or hotspot, this device will allow you to be further away from the wifi location. This will allow for smoother web surfing, online working, or school work while you are traveling, or even if you are semi permanently staying in an RV or Schoolie. This will also work inside your house as well! It has a range of 300 meters which can also be used in a garage or barn. I have not experienced any interference with any other extenders we have set up. My brother in law has an extender in his RV which is also on the property, and we have no issue with all of us being able to get online or losing bandwidth. Also works with any wifi router.
