I am new to quilting, and I was very happy to find this walking foot as I was advised it was imperative to have for quilting. I have a Singer M1500 mechanical machine. It was fairly easy to install, and it works very well. The guide, however seems useless because it is not anchored in any way and tends to "float" around, not staying in one place. I've tried it on both the right and left of the walking foot with the same result. Maybe there is a trick to it? I do love the bonus 1/4" quilting foot that came with it. The media could not be loaded. I am a new and beginning quilter. I was conflicted about trying this product because the reviews were more negative than positive. So far this product is working fantastic. I have a Brother SE1900 and the fit was great and the ease of operation was smooth. I love this product! I am not new to sewing but still a novice to the skill. My material doesn’t bunch up, stitch is nice and even, the foot is easy to install, and so far quality is good. There are plastics piece that could break. But I would buy product again for this price. It came with another all metal foot. I think it’s the one quilters call ditch in the stitch foot. And a guide bar which I’m excited to use. ... show more

I use this almost daily on projects I have been sewing for Christmas gifts. The Singer brand one I had kept giving me problems. This one is so handy.
