Very cheaply made. The plastic, especially on the remote is thin and fragile. The car is a little better and all the body panels can be removed, which is nice. The steering uses a DC motor and a rack & pinion instead of a servo, not great but it does work. The battery lasted about 15 minutes before needing a charge...it might work better after a few cycles. The RC part operates on 27Mhz and it's not perfect but for a cheap toy like this its functional. Needs two AAs for remote (not included). The remote's battery holder had a bent spring that I had to bend back before an AA would stay in. The car has a Li-Ion 14500 500mAh 3.7V and a USB charging cable. I wouldn't charge this unattended. This car is Made in China and the target market is bottom of the barrel budget- even so, it actually does work. ... show more

this little R/C car is quick for it's small size, and a lot of fun on clean pavement. It has a small remote for small hands, a good range and battery life. The car battery is included and rechargeable. The 2 AA batteries needed for the remote are not included, but the remote batteries last forever. Simple to operate and Jr loves it, the cats not so much. I am still trying to figure out the water spray feature, instructions are not really clear. The amount of entertainment this R/C car brings makes it worth the price, I recommend purchasing and playing. Have some fun. ... show more

This was so much fun, we got a second one to race each other. Can't beat the price for this quality R/C car. We got the "Spider Car" model and it is highly responsive to the controls. Similar items would cost a lot more for the same amount of fun!
