Last year, I spent well over $40 on a fancy daily planner that had separate sections for monthly calendars, daily/hourly calendars, and goal planning, notes, etc. While it was worth the money spent and excellent quality The hourly slots were very small, and I do not need all of the features that they offered. Being busy through my work week, conducting many interviews, and having various meetings throughout the week, I needed the calendar that had 15 minute time slots, as my interview time blocks are 45 minutes each. I searched for over a week, read a ton of reviews, initially was concerned with the quality since this planner was so inexpensive. I am glad that I ordered this hourly appointment calendar book, it's well made and the pages are not paper thin (yes, they are made out of paper. I hope you know what I mean). With the appointment slots, being broken down into 15 minute increments, and the larger size, I am able to better track my schedule in interviews and meetings throughout the day. I use this in conjunction with my outlook calendar, having my day right in front of me at all times, in addition to my outlook calendar is critical to maintain organization within my day. Although it's titled as an appointment book, for those who are like me and like mapping your day out by the hour, this one is perfect. I have purchased many daybooks over the years that ended up in a drawer, or in the trash. I have tried every type and style. Like many other reviewers, the moment I saw this daybook on Amazon I could tell: I will use it and enjoy it immensely. I've had many to compare! This is really an "Appointment Book", but I use it as a daybook. That's because I am working on many projects with several people and I am trying to write briefly, while entering information which will serve as a reference. I need to be able to find the information quickly, and the book is laid out very well for this purpose. For one thing, the 8 x 10" size is perfect. The book is lightweight, yet sturdy, well-balanced. Space is more than ample throughout. Having serious vision problems now, in my "golden years", forces me to battle tiny print and muted colors on a daily basis. Happily the print listing holidays, past and future calendars, and entry lines is clear and easy to read. I can see everything I need without strain. I have stored the appointment book / daybook on my desk in a vertical metal file holder where it will be easily accessible. How this book is offered for such a low price is beyond me, but that's just one more perk. I can’t bear online calendars and bending over my phone as I peck in the info. Give me a splendid hands-on month per page calendar. And this one is it! Plenty of spaces to record appts., etc., places for notes at the side of each page, lots of note pages in the back, a pocket for papers. Plus it’s handsome. Plus it’s cheap! For the price this is a steal. The paper isn’t the highest quality but it’s not completely translucent. I’ve had it in and out of my work bag with no visible damage. Ultimately I knew I wanted this style of planner layout and I paid less than 1/3 of the premium version’s price. Can’t complain!
