Every year I buy a monthly planner. I saw this, and for the same price as my usual 18 month planner, I can get a larger three year planner. They are tabs inside for each month (so no more folding down the corners each month to quickly get to the current month). It has a nice sturdy front and back cover. Yes, the exterior measurements are 9”x11” (unlike a prior reviewers claims of being smaller). The sturdy cover also “hides” the tabs (not too difficult to open the cover and get to the tabs (I don’t understand the need to add extra tabs that extend beyond the cover). I researched many calendars before I purchased this planner. It has large squares to write in and has one month right after another. It is not bulky at all. I hope one will be done for 5 years in the exact format by the time I need to purchase my next one (in 2025 for the next 3 years or possibly 5 years). Each month has a tab and year so you can quickly find the month you are looking for. I can’t say enough about this calendar. I can’t imagine anyone would not like it. This planner has the month view only, which I love. I like to see the whole month at a glance rather than turning several pages to have to look at each week individually. If this is you as well, I highly recommend this. The only thing I would consider a negative is that the front and back cover are not covered in any sort of protective material. It's just sort of a hard cardboard. So I doubt it will last the several years that the has dates for but I am enjoying it nonetheless. Mine just sits on my desk so it doesn't get a lot of wear and tear but if you're someone who puts this in and out of a bag regularly then I would suggest looking for one with a laminated cover. ... show more

This planner is simple and easy to use. The two page, month-at-a-time view provides enough space for each day that is plenty big enough for all my notes. I like the clear two sided pocket at the back to hold papers.
